The second Qualification Round for the Counter-Strike European Championship has been drawn. Follow your country men in what is the last stop before the European Championship where everything is at stake. Eighteen teams will go on to the Championship, eighteen teams will be knocked out. The Last Resort are among those eighteen teams, will they stumble?

It's nearly the end of September which means it is time to announce next month's leagues. In October we will have Counter-Strike: Source, PokerTH, Trackmania and the return of Counter-Strike 1.6. Sign ups are open now!

At this year's gamescom we interviewed the eSports legend Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel. ESL's very own David "Affentod" Hiltscher sat down with one of the best players in eSports history. Fatal1ty talked about his impression of the Intel Extreme Masters, Quake Live and his passion about gaming. Will we see Fatal1ty back again at big tournaments?

Introducing the "vmesx fc2" - a high spec server with Intel Xeon MP 7400 series processors. This server will be the host for a MASSIVE Far Cry 2 Multiplayer game. With this single server (running 40 Virtual servers with VMware ESX 3.5 Hypervisor / 16 players per session), we hope to achieve many hundreds players.

From October 1st to 3rd he will be taking part in the Global Challenges WC3 Tournament and represent the United Kingdom in a tournament of the biggest names in Warcraft 3 right now!
