The European Nations Championship has changed in many ways since its start in 2004. These changes also affected the assortment of the games being played. During the last season it became apparent, that the lineup of games in use is both diverse and functional. Though new options were discussed, the European Nations Championship 2007 will still feature the same three disciplines as last year.

From 25th till 28th January the whole Warcraft 3 world will look to Cologne, because the creme de la creme of the worldwide WC3 scene will attend the ESL WC3L Series Season X and Battle.net Global Ladder Season IV Finals. Furthermore a huge World of Warcraft - Burning Crusade Free-Gaming-Area will be available for all visitors.

After our first announcement of ESL WC3L Series X and Battle.net Season IV Finals, we can proudly present the next level of information. The official micro page of both events is available now, the schedule and the groups of the Battle.net Finals are also announced.

Today we are happy to announce yet another award to be earned. The statistic is one that is almost mandatory and should have been added years ago: The winning streak shows how many consecutive victories one has. Of course the opposite is also available, the losing streak.

The next matches are starting today and the final phase is beginning right now. Who will win the 160,000 Euro prize money of the first season? ESL Aequitas wins another battle in the war against cheaters. Next to the normal scanning and anticheat detection there are also special operations. The last time we did one of these we caught 160 cheaters. This time we caught 36 cheaters all of them which used a specialized private hack.
