Calling all UK StarCraft fans! Today we have re-opened the ESL UK 1on1 Ladder!

After a quiet period over the past couple of months, we can now provide you with some new information about ESL UK going forwards and what you can and cannot expect in the foreseeable future.

The ESL Major Series, the biggest competition for games that are not in the Intel Extreme Masters, announced it's 10th season last week with a huge €39,000 on offer.

Today we can announce the UK qualifiers for the ESL Major Series X! Qualifiers for Call of Duty 4, Counter-Strike:Source and FIFA 12 will now join the already announced World of Tanks.

Another new champion arose as Fargo beat Ourk in the final in #9. With the Hungary show match happening, a weakened field could see a 6th week running with a new champion! Or could we see the first champion to reclaim their title?

The tournament is almost ready, the team are getting their players in and are preparing their tactics! This Tuesday we'll have a friendly match before the start of Country Championship! The United Kingdom National Team will fight against the Hungary National Team !! Don't miss this big match!

At the beginning of the year most of you read the great news that the ESL and Wargaming were extending their partnership. Next to the Go4WoT series we also announced two new ESL Major Series seasons with a prize purse of €15,000 each season! Altogether we have 16 slots in the EMS. The top 3 from the last season are automatically qualified leaving us 13 remaining slots. Read the following news to find out how to qualify for EMS and how the prize money is split amongst the top teams.

We first announced the StarCraft 2 Country Championship almost two months ago. It has been a long two months in preparing - reaching out to more than 40 countries around the globe, getting their rosters ready and then having to decide a fair structure and seeds for the best possible tournament. Today we are almost ready, and make one big step forwards with an updated structure and draft of the groups.

This week we had been pretty busy to get a lot of flamers, fakers or players who closed or didn't even start Wire Anti-Cheat for their matches banned. Of course we will give you a detailed insight on what we did and especially why those guys got banned. Just have a look!

On January 31st, starting at 6:00pm CET the team of FnaticRaidCall will be our guest in VERSUS. In this special night, you have the chance to play with some of the best Dota 2 players out there. They will start searching for matches both as a party and solo. So grab the chance to play with or against some Dota 2 superstars!

We are back already with a brand new season, the tenth no less, with some of our old choices and a new one, and a record breaking prize pot!

Today the strucutre and seedings were announced for the tournament StarCraft 2 Country Championship 2012. Featuring more than 40 countries, this year's tournament will begin with a Qualifying Group Stage where most of the teams will battle to qualify for the main tournament. The United Kingdom team are a high seed for the qualifiers.
