versus games

| just played a versus game 5v5 and to say it was a joke of a match up was ridiculous. think final score was 16-4. The thing i was wondering is how it is worked out because the team we were playing were obviously a clan and they all had high player levels so had played a lot of versus game with a high win percentage. My team i get a bunch of clowns seriously. First half i managed to score like 19-9 i think it was and the next player on my team got 4 kills in 15 rounds. between the 4 of them they got like 9 kills, so how did i end up with a team like that and how do we get put against an obvious decent team, doesnt really make it a fair match up!! | I've had some similar experiences with people. Unfortunately, people who play lots can somehow earn more points than they lose, even if they themselves are terrible players! On the flip side, brand new players start with 0 points and they could easily be EPS players in a party of 3+ members, making "lower" ranked games quite tough. Once you get off the lower end of the points scale, the match making works a lot better because it has more to work with! The next season starts in less than a week, I'd recomend giving it a go then and you'll be on the same level as everyone! -- UK National Head [ quote ]

| well after playing couple more games think ill call it a day. Left 1 match as the admin of the server was kicking me from server whenever i killed him and put a veto in as they put win for themselves only for the result to be upheld so i guess whats the point in playing if the admin on the server were playing can just kick people when he feels like it and your supposed to just accept it, lmfao what a load of crap. and just incase your gonna say oh well you must have done something the reason he gave for kicking me was my rates were wrong. They were 30000 66 66. lol GG peace out [ quote ]

| There is nothing Versus or ESL can do to interfere with what a player wants to do on their own personal server. As long as they are reported they will end up being removed from the Versus system. We can't ban them before they've done anything. Yes, you do get the games every so often where players themselves are causing problems. That doesn't mean you have to stop using the system itself. -- UK National Head [ quote ]
