CS Cup : Round 1 *Update*

 Finally we can announce the start of our UK Counter Strike 5on5 Tournament. The first rounds matches will be scheduled on Wednesday 19th January from 1900 GMT and shall be played on one of our Official ESL UK Counter Strike 5on5 Cup Servers kindly hosted by Game2XS.
The IP for each fixture will be given in #esl.uk @ Quakenet 10 minutes before the scheduled start of the match. We recommend that a contact person for your team be in this IRC channel at least 20 minutes before your match to solve the hassle of any last minute changes. Round 1 of the Tournament will be played on de_train. 
If you require any information from our admins please click here to submit a Support Ticket which will be answered within 24 hours. The IRC channel for the tournament is #esl.uk @ Quakenet. Please feel free to forward any comments or questions you have there to an admin. // Your ESL Admin Team

seedings are a bit wrong to actual clan skills i know a few clans in there that should be defintely placed alot higher than they actually are but oh well | ||

Im not sure but i think he did the seeds to current performances as a team. i've seen a few teams that i thought would of seeded higher than they did but hey..... thats life :> GL all teams. |

Hey i know the seeds are a bit off. I looked at the players in the teams, and what each team has achieved. This is our first tourny so it will definatly be a good guide to give accurate seedings for the next step :) Its fair enuf imo the seedings so gl to all ! and happy new year :>~ | ||

well in comparrison to wots been achieved i am serprised to see my team definitive which is CSGN div 1 seeded as low as many teams that have only achieved as high as ED Prem doesn't matter anyway i am looking farward to tourny :) | ||

The Anti-Cheat we're going for is as follows, i hope its secure enough for a few of you :) Cheating-Death SoundCheck Match Admin Player Demos HLTV Players are asked to record a POV demo at all times within any ESL matches. Each player must keep these demos for upto 14 days after the match has taken place and if asked by an admin the player is to upload their demo to the ESL Site. |

Will the Soundcheck stop me from using HighFPS models? I'm currently on a rather poor PC: (CPU) 1-AMD Thunderbird, 1195MHz, 256KB (68% Load) (RAM) usage: 237/383MB (61.88%) (GFX) 32MB GeForce2 MX 100/200 (Display) 800x600/16bit (OS) Windows 98 (4.10 - 2222) (uptime) 17m 40s (HDDs) 13.73G/37.2G(36.9%) free so it would be difficult to use anything else and get a decent amount of FPS. |

I couldnt connect to a server last night with soundcheck running as cz has installed it's models into my cs foler :/ Anyone know of a fix for this please or if cz models are allowed? |

i believe there is a fix for CZ models yea. Do a google search, sumthing will come up, or... get 1 of ur teammates to send u the original player models. | ||
