UK in EMS X CoD4

Thanks to past performances by teams from the United Kingdom, we have been rewarded with three spots in the upcoming season.

• 1 Direct to Groupstage - Qualifier 1st Place
• 1 Qualification Round 2 - Qualifier 2nd Place
• 1 Qualification round 2 - Qualifier -3rd Place

EMS X UK Qualifier

This season's qualifier for the UK will be open for up to 64 teams to compete over four stages to earn a place in the Champions League of Call of Duty.

The structure will feature four 16 team pre-qualifiers. The top 2 from each of those qualifiers will then be placed into a final playoff bracket of 8 teams where top 3 finishing teams will take the prizes!

This structure should allow as many teams as possible to attempt to qualify for EMS.

Important Rules

• Teams at all times must play with at least 3 UK residents - nationality/passport does not count
• Matches cannot be postponed, only preponed with agreement of an admin. Do not sign up unless you can play at ALL times
• ESL Wire is 100% compulsory

Pre-Qualifiers

• Teams should be in the IRC channel #esl.uk for the duration of the cup
• 16 teams
• Best of 1
• Matches at 7pm, 8pm, 9pm UK time
• Top 2 from each go on to Finals

Finals

• 8 teams
• Single Elimination
• Best of 3
• Matches can be played anytime up until the match time, 3 day period
• Losers from Round 1 go into a Losers Bracket to decide 5/6/7/8th places in case of drop outs etc before Qualification Rounds

Players can test their ESL Wire Anti-Cheat works correctly using the test matches by joining the WAC Test team. Or perhaps try playing on ESL Versus?
