The eighth StarCraft II World Championship Series UK Qualifier saw 71 gamers battle it out to earn qualification for the StarCraft II World Championship Series UK Nationals, which will be held in London on June 30th and July 1st.

Two players who have been trying hard every week to qualify were able to succeed at the final opportunity, as
DeMoN and
Reno became the last two participants at the StarCraft II World Championship Series UK Nationals, which will be held in London on June 30th and July 1st. After reaching the semi-finals last week,
DeMoN didn't just make the final but won this week's qualifier outright with a 2-0 defeat of
CLN before a 3-2 win in a tight game against
Reno gave him the first place finished.
Reno had a tough route through the brackets and had to defeat
stolensheep,
Euphoria,
Teleth and
GGAndyPandy to secure his place at the Nationals, and he was able to do just that.
