We are sorry to inform that we have decided to close down ESL Nordic Viking Cup for StarCraft 2.

Viking Cup is being reworked as a cup and thusly we have decided to postbone the Viking Cup #32 until the 10'th of march. This plus the fact that the Intel Extreme Masters event is going down this week made us make this decision. But we will be back the 10'th of March with more Viking Cup action!

We have prepared a replay pack from the 30th edition of Viking Cup, and we will continue to do so!

We welcome you guys to our first monthly finals this year, and we are really looking forward to it. The monthly finals will of course have a biger prize pool than usual. The top 8 players from our cups i 2011 are automaticly in the cup, while the rest uf you have to be a premium subscriber.

It is ready for our first cup in 2011, let us move on to Viking Cup #24! 2010 was a successful year, with the Viking Cup being borned, now it is ready for our first cup in 2011. It is ready for Viking Cup #22. With 50 euro extra in prize money, it is duked for an heavy fight for the first place! As usual ESL Viking Cup is restricted to the following countries: Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Denmark and Faroe Island. We have also made a new rule concering participation in the Viking Cups, a walkover rule. An admin can give a player a win on walkover if the player has not showed up 15 minutes after the schedule time. The rule is made due to many players is playing on two cups at the same time, and making delays in our cups.

The grand final in Viking Cup #21 - Monthly finals, was postponed as the finalist requested it. The grand final will instead be played on Monday at 20:00. The match is between the ESL Pro Series Nordic-Champion :se: <b><a href="/nordic/vikingcup/sc2/cup7/player/969729/">SjoW</a></b> and :fi: <b><a href="/nordic/vikingcup/sc2/cup7/player/2794656/">Naama</a></b>, the first of seven maps will be Metalpolis.

We are again ready for another Viking Cup monthly finals, this is the 21st Viking Cup we have held on ESL Nordic since the beta! The ESL Pro-Series Finals are coming closer as we speek, but we are ready for the monthly finals first! If it is less than 16 registered players in this monthly finals, we will have to postpone it. But lets all hope that will not happend. Also note that the monthly finals requires a premium account in order to participate.

August is done and we have our first ESL Viking Champion, ThorZaiN! Congratulations to the 150€! He will be the first one who gets his name carved in the stone after beating Finland's finest Naama in the very close BO7 final.<br><br><br><br>

This Viking Cup I wanted to have a Norwegian touch on the show. I wanted to expose more plays from the Nordic land in the west.
