The ESL European Nations Championship, one of the Greatest International Tournaments for National Teams, after the football European Championships in Portugal or the Olympics in Greece, will be on 4th and 5th of September 2004. Then Europe's best six National Teams of both Counter-Strike and WarCraft III will go for a grand total of 20.000 € prize money.

The European Nations Championship is coming to its final event, the ENC Lanfinals Cologne '04. Twelve National Teams of eSport countries like Sweden, Germany or France will meet each other and will fight face to face. The final playmode will be two groups of three nations, the first and the second of each group is qualified for a single elimination playoff and will fight for a total prize money of 20.000 Euro.

Intel, ATI and Turtle Entertainment announce premiere of first official award show for eSports scene

Cologne, August 13th 2004 – Saturday the 21st of August 2004 will go down in history as the night of eSports. ATI, Intel and Turtle Entertainment are inviting the industry, esportsmen and –women as well as fans to celebrate the first official eSports awards honouring outstanding achievements in this field with the eSports Awards.
