Hi, okay, let's see, when can You play, coz we got already 2 other games on the weekend. You can change match date and make a prefered time and we will see, if it's good, until the match status is challenge, we can change match dates, now You can and we need to accept or change it, so please do it.
Yeath this time is 6:30 am at me too. I can't belive guys, that You can't play this earyler. For example YOu work till 4-6pm so You can start it at 5-7 pm, what's acceptable for us too, coz it's around 11-12pm at our time.
ESL specifically put the North American teams together in the same bracket to avoid any time related issues between North American and European clans in the first round. The fact that you have Europeans entered as a North American clan isn't our fault. I tried to work this out with Side Effect last night but everything I proposed was shot down because it was "party time", spring break or you already have matches set up for this weekend. Since all teams in our bracket are North American there is no need to got through the process of a time conversion for GMT. Everyone here knows what EST time zone is. I also suggested late morning or early afternoon for either Saturday or Sunday as I don't think your matches with No Other Words and Spearhead are scheduled until later in the day. It's a bit disappointing that it is so difficult to try to schedule a match with another North American registered clan. It should be so simple. Unfortunately, it's not.
Yeah, that's the reason, why we put this time, it should be good for You guys too. And it doesn't matter, who are playing in the teams, both teams need to agree times, it doesn't matter, that what kind of players with nationality are in these teams.
We are really trying to make schedule and we really trying to make a good date, that's the reason, why am i asked the information from You to see, what times are good, but only what i get, this long message without any useful information, so i write it again and please read it this time!!!!
What times are good for You on the weekend??????
Please write like the following:
It's frustrating because I went through all this with your clan leader (Side Effect) last night.
Most of us are in the North American Central Time Zone which is 6 hours earlier than GMT.
We don't all have the same work schedules but are generally online on weeknights by 10:30pm CST (4:30am GMT) until 1am CST (7am GMT).
Unfortunately, this Saturday is out as we have a couple guys working till early evening and then have our Spearhead match later that night.
We can probably play our match late Sunday morning / early afternoon 10:30am CST (4:30pm GMT) - 12:30pm CST (6:30pm GMT). Will that work for your clan?
What is your schedule? What days & times can you play (based on GMT so there is no confusion)?
Thanks and best of luck in your other matches.
Sorry.. of course what was discussed in chat and this pre-game chat are not always in-sync. Im trying to help clarify.. Grisa..and Side Effect are working to match the schedules.
We are confirmed with NOW clan to play 2pm EST Saturday.
Spearhead Sunday 5pm EST
I had listed Saturday for SOTD 5:55PM
The pregame chat just gives the teams and admins an idea of the current status of game setup. I think that is where Grisa was trying to get a schedule. We have 2 weeks to setup.. just states in rules to make notes for match progress ;}
I have been getting emails direct from ESL admin when any game schedule changes for open event.
U know how to get a hold of me if needed Dave ;} Doc
Sounds good, Dr. Good. I changed the match date to be this Sunday, March 8th at 12:30pm EST. Map should be Hometown.
Don't forget to change your clocks for daylight saving time change.
Glad to hear that we may have finally agreed on a time our match. As for the default maps, as I understood it, the team that we were matched up with for the #1 match (SoTD Vs. Now What) should be played on Hometown, unless both parties agree to play a different map. The #2 match should be played on Seaside and the #3 match should be played on Farmland. The map rotation has nothing to do with the order in which they are played. It was all determined by ESL with their original match set up. http://www.esl.eu/eu/wic/news/79868/
Schedule & Maps
Map & Point System:Maps:
For each match the map is chosen by the ESL, you can find the map in the match details. It is Hometown (1. Groupstage Match), Seaside (2. Groupstage Match) and Farmland (3. Groupstage Match) for the three groupstage matches. (in the called order). Both teams can agree to play a different map, they just have to clearly state it in the match details comments.

Please write like the following:
For example:
Friday: 6pm-12pm (gmt+- ?)
Saturday: 2pm-10pm) (gmt+-?)
Sunday: xxpm-yypm (gmt+-?)
Then we can see, what we can offer for You, it's really hard to know, what dates are good if we don't know eaxh others free time.
Matches need to be played till the end of this week i think.
Thank you!
