We are nearing the end of the WC3L qualification for Season X. Six teams are battling for the last three spots in the league. Wait a second - three?

As many of you are aware, the international WC3 team of Play.it disbanded a while ago, leaving an empty spot in the WC3L ranks. It is only logical to fill this spot with a team from the ongoing qualification. The losers of round 4 of the loser bracket will have a match to decide who'll take the spot.

We wish all teams the best of luck and we look forward to these exciting matches.

A few days ago Blizzard released a mini-patch to update Warcraft 3 to version 1.20e. The patch fixed a multiplayer exploit and a bug on Terenas Stand. The Mercenary Camp on this map has been changed and therefore our recently introduced rule about Terenas Stand became invalid.

The ninth ESL WC3L Series Finals are over. The creme de la creme of international Warcraft had a tryst in Oberhausen, with a surprise winner. The Korean team of mYm.Raptor-Gaming beat the star team of 4Kings to win the most prestigious title in WC3.

Who is the best of the best? Who is the most important player in the Warcraft 3 Championsleague? This is what we asked you when we started the ballot for this season's "Most Valuable Player".

4K.ToD, mYm.Lucifer, Ex-fnatic.Creolophus and WE.Sweet were the candidates who performed the best and tried to challenge last season's MVP 4K.Grubby. In the end the results were quite close but still the winner of this prestigious title is once again: 4K.Grubby.

Tomorrow is the big day. The best Warcraft 3 players convene in Oberhausen to determine the winner of WC3L Season IX - sponsored by PC-Cooling.de. In order to ensure the best spectator experience possible, we present you with all the facts regarding scheduling and online coverage.

4Kings.Intel are the defending champions at the WC3L playoffs for the second time in a row. Will they score their third consecutive, and fourth overall, victory this weekend?

The regular season was almost perfect for mYm.Raptor-Gaming and now we'll take a look at their performance and estimate their chances to have a perfect ending.

The most highly anticipated newcomers of the season had great results for their first time in WC3L, coming in third in the rankings at the end of the main season. Season 9 isn't officially over until the end of the playoffs, though, so World Elite IGE has another shot at first place.

Another great season has come and gone for SK Gaming, and as they prepare for the playoffs this weekend, we'll take a gander at how prepared the team looks.

The ESL WC3L Series Finals IX - sponsored by PC-Cooling - promises to be our best and most exciting ever. Come Friday and Saturday, eSports fans from age 12 can not only watch super stars like Grubby, ToD, Sky, Moon, Lucifer and Deadman play live but also take part in a revolution in eSports events with the Wilkinson Cup taking place at the same location.
