For three weeks now Aequitas is mandatory for all German CS 5on5 Amateur Divisions. Since it was introduced the number of protests has decreased perceptibly. Although the developers still concentrate on compatibility and eliminating bugs we could now for the first time prove that players were cheating although the cheats were not visible on the screenshots.

In preparation for Season IX (commencing on February 2), it was time to refurbish the WC3L Map Pool. It was up to the players and orgas of the participating teams to pick a few maps which would be added to the pool, alongside the standard set that we've always used. And, as such, the following is the list of maps which will be used in Season IX.

It's been one hell of a Qualifying tournament here at the WC3L, but all great things must come to an end, and after today's final match between Sabre and King.Crimson, we are officially ready for Season IX. We'd like to send out a big congratulations to the 4 qualifying teams, and wish them the best of luck with the upcoming season. These teams are:

They will join the top 8 teams from Season VIII in what we hope will be the toughest, most competitive, and most entertaining season ever in Season IX. Speaking of Season IX, we will be kicking everything out starting February 2, so be sure to check in soon for our Team Previews leading up to the beginning of the season.

Due to performance problems we had to deactivate all user guestbooks yesterday. We had to pull the emergency brake in order to guarantee a stable page. During the last days things got worse and had to be fixed. We hoped to finish this until today but it turned out that the guestbooks will at least have to stay offline until Friday.

Originally the WC3L Quali should've been over this Sunday evening. However United 5 and QPool decided they needed to postpone one game each and therefore the quali is running a little longer than expected.
On Monday Pato was able to beat Neytpoh 2:1, evening out the score of the clanwar 2:2. Now it all comes down to just one best of 3 - one game to decide who'll make it into the WC3L and who won't. One game to decide if all the hard work pays off or if it all has been for nothing.

United 5 will be cheering for their oldschool player Sabre, who just came back from inactivity. QPool on the other hand will keep their fingers crossed for their newest recruit KingCrimson, who recently announced his return to WC3.
