Along with the redesign of ESL V3 in 2004, we changed the navibar based on a javascript menu. But after some problems we found we noticed it wasnt best suited for the job in hand. The main problem we encountered was the time delay on the menu opening, sometimes many seconds after the rest of the page had opened, and the lack of possibility to open links directly into a new window or tab.

The seventh episode of the ESL WC3L series is nearing and of course we try to further improve this league. With the aim to ensure an even more fair and exciting competition we updated our rules again.

Basically there are a couple minor updates on several issues but as well a few additions to the rulebook. Here is a summary of the most important changes:

After a lot of thinking and testing the WC3L staff made a vote in which we've asked the participating teams wich maps they would like to play next saison.

One week ago we had to close all CS Ladders due to a CD Hack temporarly (news). Following on from today's Cheating Death update (ver. 4.27.2) we are now able to re-open the Counter-Strike leagues again for matches.
