From the current point onwards we see ourselves being forced to stop the Counter-Strike Ladders completely. At the moment there is a program in circulation that completely stops the detections of Cheating-Death and makes all known cheats unrecognizable by the program.

..but sometimes quite helpful. It looks like the Mosquito is sucking the ill blood out of the ESL Counter-Strike section. That’s why we, the ESL Admins, but also all fair Counter-Strike players are happy and grateful. Because of this well-known Mosquito ESP and its feature of water marking the screenshots with black borders, the Counter-Strike section can now be cleaned up a bit.

Some of you might know the title from some stupid quiz-shows on Television. Today this word gets a whole new meaning for our CS section. The community received a small clue as a present just in time for Christmas, which relieves many Cheaters for the time being at least.

After 6 weeks of action the qualification for WC3L season 7 has finally come to an end. We have seen a lot of intense fights and close games, clanwars that were decided in the last map and clans coming back from an overall score of 0:2. After the dust settled the following teams managed to qualify for the next season:

Jesus Christ! Why did the four remaining teams in the WC3L qualification tournament agree on playing their deciding games on this cold Sunday? Maybe so they can go to the church first to pray for a win tonight? Or is it just that the deadline of the last round is today at 23:59 CET? Maybe a bit of both.
Both matches, Incredible Teamaction vs. Deutschlands kranke Horde and Lynx against Good Game League are tied 2:2 at the moment and only two 1on1s will decide which two of the four teams will play in the seventh season of the WC3L. Make sure to tune in at 20:30 CET when it comes to the crunch and the collection plate is given around. Praise the tension!

Thursday, 16/12/04 00:57 | WC3L
This evening at 7pm IT faces off against DkH in the last round of the loser bracket of this qualification. IT came a long way by beating teams like a-L, SK.Ger and Nw, while DkH had it somehow easier because as wc3l clan they recieved a wildcard in the first round. They will have to give it all they got this time because losers go home and whine about they did "their best" while the winner will go home and share a bed with the prom queen (remember the movie "The Rock"?)"

IT recently lost one of their 2on2 teams (Mania and Fhra), so let's hope for them they have a good backup team. DkH on the other hand has been fairly stable lately, considering their last lineup change was when eLt left them, wich was back in november. Be sure not to miss this thrilling match!

Today at 4pm, we will have the last clanwar of the LB round 2 between Lynx and aAa.
The dutch team closely lost to jNg in the last round of the winner bracket and will be weakened today as their strong american player Boo isn't allowed to play. Still Zerter and Myth are very strong players who are able to make the difference in such an important clanwar.
aAa on the other side, is a team with a small but nevertheless strong lineup, with RouaF/MiToU still unbeaten in 2on2.
The winner of this match will have to face the winner of GGL/64AMD.Ger, the loser will be out of the qualification.
Who will be able to stay concentrated and take the win home?
Find out today at 4pm.

... with a WC3L-war between Team 64 AMD Germany and Good Game League and the deciding 2on2 of plan-B vs. DkH.

The current score of 2:2 shows that the clans strengths seem to be quite close between plan-B and DkH, so now the missing 2on2 is going to decide the whole war - a lot of pressure for the four protagonists. Especially, as the losers may say Goodbye to the WC3L. For further information and results, check the old news.

After many superbe games in the first round we don't hesitate to go on with the Loserbracket's first round, which will be a match between mouz and MYM. If we look back at the two team's encounter during the regular season we remember MYM beating SK.Int with 3:2. We will see if MaDFroG, Zacard and Co. can get their revenge for that today.
