Along side the W3CL and UTCL leagues we are happy to announce the third ESL Champions League, the ESL CSCL. We trust in the success of our previous leagues, but look forward to a partnership with the former "CounterStrike Challenge (CSC)", which was previously hosted by clanbase.

The three sunday matches of matchday 4, Greece vs. Turkey, Slovakia vs. Bulgaria and Denmark vs. Austria have been wildcarded by the ENC tournament director due to pentecost holiday in most countries.

The ESL WC3L Series goes into the eleventh and last Playday and has therefore the perhaps most interesting and thrilling week in store for you. How fitting that no other than the current champions from Four Kings will ring the bell for this final round as they encounter proGaming on Saturday at 19:30 CET.

Welcome to the third Matchday of the ESL European Nations Championship. The weather will be hot on Thursday and the game will be, too! On de_inferno the top match between Germany vs. Austria will be fought out and you can watch it live on ESL TV. After a few postponements, finally the group B match Germany vs. Austria from matchday 3 will take place this thursday. It can be viewed live on ESL-TV. TSN will also stream a live internet radio comment. Slovakia will play vs. Serbia & Montenegro (group D) and Spain will face Netherlands in today's group A match from matchday 4. You can view all matches on HLTV and follow each frag on IRC.

The 5th season of the ESL WC3L Series comes to an end in a few days and we are getting closer and closer to the playoffs.
Thus we are also approaching the next qualification tournament and even the start of the next, the 6th season.

Out of the current clans in the league only the best six are automatically qualified for the next season. If your clan wants to participate send us an application by E-Mail to baschi@wc3l.com until May 30 (30/05/2004 - this Sunday!) at the latest, containing at the very least the following information:

Please note that the ESL WC3L Series is highly competitive and strictly organized. Clans with no high-level players (>35-40 in TFT) and a perfectly running organization will most likely not be able to compete on the league's current level.

Keep in mind, that as one of the world's most important clan leagues we expect a professional attitude from clans as well as from players.

Playday 10 comes to an end with a big blast when the international squad of Schroet Kommando encounters the Finnish team of Destination Skyline on Wednesday at 18:00 CET. As a cherry on the cake Infinity eSports will face Mousesports 30 minutes later.

This Wednesday Playday 3 of the European Nations Championship comes to an end. At 20:00 CET, the team of Serbia and Montenegro will encounter Slovakia while Czech has to face Greece. At the very same time
Bulgaria is facing Turkey and the rescheduled match of Austria and Poland will take place aswell.

Playday 3 of the European Nations Championship in Warcraft 3 goes into another round as most of the Scandinavian countries show off their great skills tonight at 20:00 CET. To be exact, Sweden will encounter Belgium, Ukraine faces Iceland and Finland will have an all Scandinavian match against their neighboring country Norway. May the underdog Belgium steal some points from favourite Sweden? Can Iceland resist the overpowering Ukrainians? And will the Finns be able to score their first win? - We'll see!

It's Tuesday and tonight the National Teams of Czech and Turkey will face each other tonight. You can follow the match via Live-Svorebot or HLTV by blank-TV - powered by NGZ.

Inactive players or teams are removed from a ladder if they have not completed a single match for a period of 80 days. After one month without completing a match the participant is marked in the ranking list. The script, however, had a bug so that some participants were at first spared. The bug has now been removed and an additional 1203 inactive players and teams have just been kicked from the ladders.

The so far quite enjoyable Playday 9 goes into another round as Schroet Kommando International faces Mouessports tonight at 20:00 CET. Please note that one 2on2 already got played in which the Germans managed to gain their first point in this match.

Some interesting European Nations Championship Counter-Strike matches are scheduled for today, May 16th. In group A, both the two leaders of the group United Kingdom and Netherlands and the two taillights Spain and Italy will face each other. In group C, the match Iceland vs. Ukraine will be the beginning of playday 3 for this group. The topmatch between two favorites of this group Sweden and Finland had to be wildcarded by Sweden. Also another group C match between Norway and Belgium had to be wildcarded by Belgium. New dates will be announced as soon as possible.

While Playday 8 is still in progress some of you may have already watched forward to the Playoffs, as the current season's Playdays will end with the 11th one.

The Playoffs for Season 5 aren't far away anymore: make sure to cancel every possible date which lies on the 26.6. - 27.6.2004, as this will be the weekend where the world's best clans will compete with each other for the crown of the WC3L – and a total prizeamount of 2.500 €. We are proud to announce that these Playoffs will be held in Cologne, in a LAN environment, which guarantees the best and fairest competition for the very first time.

This sunday, we present you three great matches of the ESL European Nations Championship. In the first match the National Team of United Kingdom will face the boys from The Netherlands. They will fight for the lead in Group A. In the second match Team Portugal will meet the National Team of France and last and least the Italian National Team will face the Spanish Team. Playday 8 continues with a battle between German/American squad of mTw and the all-German Mousesports. The nationality factor will play a part in this match for sure, so it promises to be an interesting battle to see who's currently the king of the German castle.
