WC3L Season 7 Preview: Team 64AMD
The last day before the start of the seventh season - the last preview for the seventh season. Today we take a look at Team 64AMD, examine their lineup and interview their team-manager Enrique.
Team 64AMD

Projected Lineup:

Caravaggio
Deadman
WinneR
Caravaggio & Deadman
Elakeduck & SaSe

Backup
Crimson
Elakeduck
SaSe

Man on the spot: Deadman

Deadman was probably the best addition that 64AMD could find in the last season. Playing (and winning) both 1on1 and 2on2 with his fellow Caravaggio he was one of the main reasons why 64AMD was able to win the past season. He still is in great shape and practices a lot to attend the World Esports Games. While this might sound like a good thing it could also turn out to be really bad for his team. If the lag and timezone-differences are too bad he cannot play and therefore leaves a huge gap in the team's lineup that would be impossible to fill.

Season outlook:

If asked in the beginning of last season, probably nobody would have named 64AMD to be a favourite for the title. Now that they are the champions nobody will underrate them again but give their best.

Another thing that could make things more difficult is the fact that Deadman might not be able to play every match. He will attend WEG in Korea and be there for most of the regular season's playdays. Still it should be possible for 64AMD to reach a playoff-spot without him just like they did in the last season.

With the addition of WinneR a good Undead-user has been added to their roster. With Caravaggio, Deadman, WinneR and Elakeduck there are exceptional players for every race in their 1on1-roster. Backed up by Crimson and SaSe the 1on1s are top-notch even without Deadman participating.

The 2on2-teams proved to be in impressive shape during the finals in Copenhagen. Only four of 15 maps were lost even with team-manager Enrique playing for them. While Team Pr0n aka SaSe & Duck will be giving their best again, Deadman & Caravaggio might not play 2on2 anymore. The communication between the continents could be too difficult.

64AMD is able to win a lot again. It's not certain that they can repeat last season's success but reaching the playoffs is a target that should be easily in reach.

The coach's view:

EnriqueWhat do you expect from the new season?
Enrique: I expect my team to do a lot better this season than last season. In the regular season we didn't do so well, lost too many games 2-3 etc. That won't happen this season. And in overall I'm looking forward to a new great season of WC3L with a lot of new teams. Will be really fun to see if they are up for it.

Wich clans will reach the playoffs and who will get the title?
Enrique: The clans wich reach the playoffs will probably be 64AMD, 4K, SK, mYm, mTw and 3wD. I think that the new teams in WC3L are a bit too weak, even though I would only be happy if some of them could prove me wrong and suprise. I have to cheer for my fellow Swedish mates in OWNAGE. And about the winners I have to say my own team. I believe we can do it once again. The strongest opponents will probably be 4K, so if we don't win 4K will do it.

How did you strengthen your roster during the christmas-break?
Enrique: The only roster-change in our team so far is adding WinneR who is a young talented undead-player. I hope he will do really well in our team and have a nice stay. We might have some more aces up our sleeve but only time will tell.
