The WC3L Season 7 Finals are about to start and we are using the short idle time for a couple of previews as we already presented them in the beginning of the season. Here we are presenting to you: The current vice-champions ![]() Attending players:Regular season progress:8 Wins, 3 Losses, 37 PointsAfter a rather disappointing regular part in season 6 and a surprising second place in the finals the Danish/Korean team of mYm.Hanbit promised to achieve a better record in this regular season. With Bjarke being active again and the additions of French superstar Wolf and yet another Korean undead-player Lucifer the goal was to reach one of the top 2 spots. But without any match being played a shock already threatened the plans: Susiria played with a wrong clantag in a Korean tournament and therefore got banned for several playdays. That was the moment when Lucifer got his chance to step up and show what a good addition he really was. Three playdays passed and all matches could be won when the so far undefeated 4Kings knocked on the door. In one hell of a clanwar 4K managed to win over the now struggling team. Wolf got kicked out of the roster and the next match against 64AMD was also lost. The time had come for Maestro & plaZ to win a couple of 2on2s for their team and Susiria was finally back when the next five matches were won. Only a close loss to mTw.ATI stopped the winning streak but did not jeopardize their second place. The MVP: Jung-Ki "Susiria" Oh 12 Wins, 2 Losses (25:8 Maps)It is really hard to name a MVP in the ranks of mYm.Hanbit. There is GoStop who scored most points of all players and who stepped into the breach for his banned ally Susiria. There is Lucifer who turned out to be a perfect addition to the already strong lineup. The comeback of Bjarke should also be mentioned while Ciara showed great reliability. But one player seems to outshine every other. A player who sometimes looks like the alpha-player or the heart of the team: Susiria. After he had to warm the bench for the first four playdays he stood up for his team and brought them not less than twelve points. A mYm.Hanbit in the playoffs without Susiria? Never! Finals outlook:The days of a splitted team are over. The Korean players will travel to Europe again to meet their fellow Danes and represent their clan as a unit. And what kind of unit that is! With Bjarke, Ciara, GoStop, Lucifer and Susiria in your roster your opponents may never know what to expect in 1on1. In 2on2 things are not really certain, too. The team has tried a lot of combinations throughout the whole season. This makes them one of the hardest teams to beat – but also to rank. They have it in theirselves to repeat the success of the last season if not even more. The coach's view: How did this regular season go for you?T.MH]Quinine: The best online season in mYm's history. We started out really strong and all of us were really motivated and prepared when the season started, and in the first few wars we got the results we were aiming for. A bit later we hit a slump - 64AMD and mouz.BenQ started closing in - mainly due to lack of motivation and some inside issues within the team. But we eventually regained our focus and were able to retain the second place which had been our goal since the very beginning of the season. Things looked a bit grim for you when Wolfy left your team and Susiria got banned for several playdays. Still you managed to win most of your matches. Can you explain how or why? T.MH]Quinine: Ya, both things surely left us vulnerable and we had quite a gap early on in the season. Luckily Lucifer had just joined the team and filled Susiria's gap perfectly. In Wolfy's absence Maestro & plaZ managed to pull home two points during the mid-season which proved to be crucial. And through the larger part of the season we just tried to keep focused on getting the points we needed in every single match. Bjarke and Ciara have both contributed greatly to this season, bringing home important points, too. Having in mind that all these players will come to the finals: What expectation do you have? T.MH]Quinine: I expect it will be one of the best lans this year, so many great players from all over the world attending. I think we'll have a very hard time from start to finish in the bracket. I hope we will reach the overall final, and from there anything can happen. But it will be very hard to reach even that goal. Who is the most valuable player of this season? T.MH]Quinine: If I have to point on one player I would say Gostop, because he has played all but one clanwar and has been so very consistent during the season and won so many points. But I would also like to point Susiria as a binding force in the team. We rely a lot on his advices before clanwars and he is always eager to talk about WC3L and lineups.
