S.o.K.o.L hails from team n!faculty and is currently living in Röhrnbach, Germany. His outstanding Orc talent in the wCIP earned him the nomination, and you the fans have spoken. His name is actually Russian and means Hawk which can explain his MVP status by him claiming over 40% of the popular vote soaring over his opponents to win this award. I am honored to have this small chat with him.

Electronic Sports League: Greetings Mr. Rennert let’s start off first by you telling us a little bit about your self. Name, age, where you are from, and any other bio info you want us to know. Heinrich ‘S.o.K.o.L’ Rennert: Hi people! My name is Rennert Heinrich, I’m fresh 21 years old, and so I’m allowed to drink beer in the USA! I am from Germany and will also represent it on the WCG 2009. After I graduate Gymnasium, I started to study construction engineering in Würzburg, Bavaria. In my free time i play WC3, chill with my friends,  and I like to drive with my car. ESL: Now congratulations on winning Season IV MVP, funny enough you ended up getting a 15inch trophy instead of a 12 inch one, apparently they ran out of the smaller ones, so what do you think of the trophy? S.o.K.o.L: Well, my first impression was: "wow, this cup is real". D4nny made his job good! To be honest, I expected not so good trophy. Now I have to buy a vitrine for my medals and this golden Goblet. ESL: Have you stored it somewhere safe or is it in the garage or attic? S.o.K.o.L: It’s now in my room at my parents, with 3 security cameras around the house. I think it’s safe now. If I would be in the USA, I would by me a gun to shot everybody who looks wrong. ESL: That is a definite way to keep the covenant MVP trophy safe! ESL: This time around, there were a lot of nominees for the MVP award, and all them of were very popular in the scene, but you still managed to steal 40% of the votes. Do you have any clues as to how this happened? S.o.K.o.L: Well, I think I have a good fan base in Germany (readmore.de fame) and in Russia. I'm always open to people and talk with them. Maybe it’s the reason why they gave me so many votes. But to be honest, I never expected to get such good support. Thanks to all for trusting in me! ESL: Do you think the feature of match stats in the previous season would have helped in more in the race of MVP against Lucifron, or was it nearly hopeless? S.o.K.o.L: Well, Lucifron deserved the title more as all other players. It was "rising of pedro". Nothing could stop him ESL: So we will consider this time the rise of SoKol . ESL: You achieved rank 2 in the regular season rankings, explain to us what kind of regular season it was for you? S.o.K.o.L: Yeah! Well, after i won my first bo3, i wanted to win the next. It was like a disease. Some free time in the university helped me to stay in training. I enjoyed every game in this international league, but the waiting time because of bad managed teams, reduced the fun. But all in one, it was a very good experience. ESL: Good Stuff! ESL: Now getting more towards what everyone has been wanting to hear about, First round playoffs, and some would say Faculty was favored to win it, but score ended up 2:2 overall and we come to Effects game. Ultimately do you agree or disagree with the decision made on his game? (The default loss) S.o.K.o.L: Well, maybe it was a little bit overreacted decision. But i accept and understand it. This day was damned. Effect’s internet didn’t work like always... annoying but the life goes on. ESL: The reaction by management was for Faculty to forfeit the league, a decision you and everyone agreed upon or did they react out of rage? S.o.K.o.L: Well... it will be better if you ask my manager. ESL: So you don't agree with decision? S.o.K.o.L: Well, it’s like a 50/50. I dislike waiting, but I like to play. ESL: I see. Now we can catch you all around the scene and not just in WCIP. What other leagues and tournaments are you taking part in to date? S.o.K.o.L: Well, we are leading in the German Premier League and represent n! in the best German 1on1 league, the EPS. We are invited to WC3L and I hope we will qualify for the NGL league. Reignofdark is playing every week Zotac and Fit4gaming. The highlight is WCG, where I will represent Germany. ESL: With such tough contenders at WCG, what is your training schedule like? S.o.K.o.L: Well my training till today was really bad because I had to work hard to finance my study. Now I am "free" though, and will be playing every free second to reach my old shape and pwn the world! ESL: Good luck there, I’m sure your very large fan base will be rooting you on. ESL: Since Warcraft 3 is slowly winding down, and the anticipation for Starcraft 2 is rising, the age old question is, will you make the switch or stick to wc3? S.o.K.o.L: Well, I will surely test this game, but I don’t think that as engineer I will have enough time to play this game on higher level. So I hope wc3 will not die for the next 2-3 years! My life for the horde! ESL: Very nice, a Warcraft 3 die hard! ESL: Now in the grand finals we have MeetYourMakers and Millenium. The score when they met the first time was a close 3:2 with MYM taking the victory. Since that was back when they were nGize and had more players, do you think that maybe there is a chance Millenium can sneak out a grand finals win, or does MYM takes this season easily? S.o.K.o.L:To be honest, the lineup of MYM is much stronger as M's. But i hope it will be a close war again (because i want more replays). But MYM will win it. ESL: So in closing here, definitely thanks a lot for taking the time to speak out to the fans.
