The time is here! The battle for the grand prize is incoming as now two of the top teams in the league have taken the battle field and are ready for combat. This is not their first encounter, but this will definitely be the last. A lot is riding on this double elimination style clan war including the title of WCIP Season IV Champion, so read more for the exciting details!

Clash of the Titans

Beginning Saturday September 19th at 17:00 CET
We will see MeetYourMakers.WC3 vs. Millenium.w3

From the very beginning we have witnessed both of these teams dominate the regular season. Team Millenium being the new-comers of the league have had an unprecedented start as they now find themselves in the grand finals against one of the toughest teams in the league.

We Meet Again

If you some decent memory, you guys will remember that MeetYourMakers first clashed again Millenium in Winner Bracket Finals, and what a match that was. It was action-packed and filled incredibly close games and upsets that led to MYM only winning by the skin of their teeth with a score of 3:2. This put MYM in a great position of the Playoff brackets because top seed has to be beaten in the grand finals not once, but twice.

The pressure is on for Millenium now with their french elite squad. They have a better advantage for the first clan war as they do get to pick the starting maps which will be analyzed a bit later on in the article. The problem then arises should they win the first clan war as then they will have to gear up for a second clan war in which MYM will get map choices and the upper hand.

The French Elite

Millenium.SC2
You could almost call this team a band of brothers as they appear to be a close-nit family like team has been together for a while now, and the evolution of their skill is really apparent. With all players with the exception of one being from France, you can see how they got their nick name, as they are truly the best players to come out of France as the line up will speak for itself.
The have bottom seed in this clan war, so they will have to work extra hard, and take two clan war victories to claim the title of Season IV Champion. They have the advantage in the first clan war as they do get to pick the starting maps which are listed below.

Lineup:
KleeneX
PsYkO
Cash
ToD
YoGo

Team Map Choices:
1on1
Ancient Isles
Twisted Meadows
Secret Valley
Centaur Grove
2on2
Twisted Meadows

Player to Watch For:

ToD

Yoan 'ToD' Merlo needs no introduction. The history and accomplishments of this play is so vast, I clearly don't have to space to put it all. This former Four Kings player is now back out of retirement, and ready to shine for his new team in the World Cyber Games. One may question what kind of shape he is in for this match, or if he will even take it seriously, none this less even when he is "joking" around, he is still a very dangerous player that could be stealing a crucial point in grand finals match.

The Three Man Team

Ex-MYM.WC3
The team you see now in the grand finals, is a quite different team than what we saw at the beginning of this season. MeetYourMakers was formerly known nGize.FSP, but the ever so common organization financial trouble struck them and they were forced to find a new home while letting most of their team go. Without a doubt they have done so, and even made a step-up in the organization in my opinion as they now have revived the legend name of MeetYourMakers.
What could very well work against them is the fact that they are short one player required to have a complete line up. This means that they will have to play one of their managers in the slot which will very likely end up in 1 easy win for Millenium.

Lineup:
ReMinD
DeMusliM
LucifroN7
suNNy ???

Team Map Choices:
1on1
Turtle Rock
Melting Valley
Terenas Stand
Secret Valley
2on2
Turtle Rock

Player to Watch For:

DeMusliM

Benjamin 'DeMusliM' Baker is the classic, but extremely underrated professional human player from the United Kingdom. You don't see many pro Warcraft 3 gamers come from this country, but as the only European player to qualify for the Intel Extreme Masters tournament, you can bet he is one player to fear. When this team first ran into some troubles he had actually left and joined Gab.BallerPoker.de, but now that they have re-stabilized, he is back and appears to be better than ever. Will Millenium allow him to play with player barrage though?

The Prizes

You can't have an epic clash of the titans without a prize for the victor. So for those who have forgotten, here are what the teams are battling for:

$ 500
3 Months Team Premium
ESL Lanyards
2 Months Team Premium
ESL Lanyards

The jackpot grand prize of 500 dollars will be given to first place. 2nd place only receives ESL premium and Lanyards.

Will be nice matches. We might see clanwars but I think will take it in the end, even though they basicly start with a 0:1 disadvantage.
