1on1 - Christmas Cup ***UPDATE ***
Christmas is almost here and all of you would be receiving lots of gifts from Santa.
We would not dissapoint you either and thereby we have decided to do a Christmas Cup giving u all a chance to win Premium Keys as Christmas presents.


Prizes



This Christmas we are giving away some "presents" in form of Premium Keys for the most skilled players through the Christmas Cup as presents from Santa.

The winner gets 2 months Free Premium.
For the 2nd and 3rd are also rewarded with one month of free Premium.


Prices will be adapted to the number of contestants




Details & Rules



Gridsize: 128 contestants (!!!)
Mappool: Echo Isles, Terenas Stand, Turtle Rock, Twisted Meadows, Secret Valley, Ancient Isles, Death Trap 1.1, Melting Valley, Centaur Grove
Match mode: Best of three

DefWins: As the matches for each round might end at different times, it is only possible to get a DefWin if the previous matches have been closed and your opponent is still not there after at least 20 minutes.

Sign Up is possible until Saturday, 26.12.2009, 12:00 CET.

UPDATE: Matchtime: It is allowed to play the match before the arranged time, if the replays are uploaded.

In serious cases you can postpone the last match each per playday in agreement with your opponent, if you play it before the next round should start.

Note: If a player is 15 minutes too late you can request a DefWin for this match. Besides this the rules of the 1on1 ladder apply to this cup.

Note: We meet one hour before the cup starts at each playday in #esl.wc3. An admin will be online there for any emerging problems.

Note: To ensure a smooth oongoing of the cup we are using the Check-In System this time. Please check in 30 minuten before the first round. (19:00 CET).

Holy shit?! Why isn't the cup at on evening? That's a brashness to let the players waste 3 evenings to finish this cup. This can also take place at one day. Basicly the players have vacations and they want to go in for something. Can this cup take place maybe just at one day? Would be more humanly.

As a lot more contestants than we epected already signed up we are think about changing the dates of the matches. So If you have any wishes, maybe Santa will make it possible ;)...

UPDATE: We had to reduce the nunmber of players to 128.

We explicitly want to thank you for your participation. Seeing such a huge number of contestants we are motivated to do cup more regularly in the next year.

As 22:30 is really late, we allow to play the matches as soon as both contestants are available.
