After 4 seasons of competing in WCIP, team n!faculty decides to call it quits in the league. Of course much respect must be given as this team has been in WCIP since the very first season when the league was unknown and still getting its footing (which it still is).
Faculty's management did have some problems with WCIP Administration, and what finally prompted the team to leave the league, was the unprecedented situation that happened in their Playoff match against SJ Gaming where their superstar player Effect received a default loss for disconnecting, and that ended their chances to advancing on in the Playoffs tournament. Forfeiting a slot in WCIP is taken very seriously we know how valuable a spot in WCIP is to some teams, with that said Faculty will not be invited back for Season V due to the reasoning of their team quitting. WCIP cannot risk a situation like this happening in the middle of the season, and the team calling it quits therefore wasting a slot.

We operate by a simple rule here, If you don't plan to compete, then do not sign up. Simple as that.

This makes for the second team to open up a slot in WCIP after the old disbanded team GaB.Ballerpoker.de . With Playdowns already completed, this means a total of 5 teams have been dropped from WCIP, therefore Season V Qualifiers will be adjusted to accept 5 teams into the league, instead of 4 teams.

I hope you all can understand the decision, and respect Faculty's decision as well. They were a very strong team, and we wish them luck in their next leagues.
