Sudden Death Cup
The new year kicks off with a new cup idea, called the 'Sudden Death Cup'. One match per round, which ensures fast games. Every lost match means your out. Only the one who stays focused throughout the whole cup wins.

Max players: 32
Mode: single elimination
Match type: BO1 (Best of one)

Sign-Up is possible from now on until next wednesday 12 CET. Sign-Up.

Rulechanges

The rules of the WC3 EU 1on1 ladder apply here for this cup, with some modifications:

* If one player does not show up until 20 minutes after the match should start, the other player can request DefWin from an Admin (#esl.wc3).
* There are no penalty points for not showing up in this cup.

Please arrange a GGC channel to meet using the matchcomments! An Admin will be online during the Cup in #esl.wc3 (Quakenet).

Quarterfinals: Wednesday, 24. February - 20:00 CET
Semifinals: Wednesday, 24. February - 20:30 CET
Finals / Game for place 3: Wednesday, 19. Feburary - 21:00 CET



Prices

The winner will receive 1 month ESL-Premium. Prices may be modified according to the number of particpients. So everyone get onboard!

After lil starting problems cup run very uninterrupted and was a great fun to play. Thanks to techpriest who organized all alone. ggs everybody.

really failcup and badly organized. About 50% of games were freewins and then we had to finish the cup on the 1 day, hours after the arranged time and most people gave up.. But congrats to the people who were still online and managed to find the room. No critisms to techpriest, he was the only admin that actually did something and he did a lot of hard work.

Ye but the prob is that u signup when u dont have time. It was clearly announced that cp is all on one day, and u cant expect to play a wc3 cp with 5 ronds in 2hours guys ;>
