TDM 4on4 Country Championship 2011
Are you looking for some Team based competition ? Team DeathMatch perhaps ? The old fashion way when tactics, timing, frag-power as a team work the only way to defeat your opponent . We're proud to announce the TDM 4on4 Country Championship 2011 as the first competition of its kind in our section ! Read about the details inside:


Captain_vote procedure

  • Public vote in our general game forum ( link ) where every nations will have it's own topic
  • in these topics every player that has a esl_account with UT2004 GA are able to ( count as a vote ) comment as writing down his/her captain's nick that we'll summarize after 3 weeks - or - in some special cases might sooner.


    • IMPORTANT: Every player who wish to applicate as a captain must contact an admin on #esl.ut so his nick will be included in the forum as a legitimate applicant that you can vote for.

    Nation team_registration

  • After a nation have his/her captain ONLY he/she and no-one else are authorized to register the official team. There will be a registration_form a guide that every captain must follow during the registration. These informations will be available for every captain.


    • IMPORTANT: After the registration is complete the captains must invite the players in ASAP. There is only one restriction about this procedure - that is the nationality and nothing else.

    Signup procedure

  • There will be no open signup at this league, all the official teams will be manually added in order to avoid complications.


    • Coverage

  • We are intend to coverage all of the matches via LIVE! HDStream ( own3D.tv ) and Shoutcast ( tinychat.com ) with our Reporter-Team: Link


    • League System

  • Double Elimination
  • One Match per week.
  • Default date is Sunday 20:00CET


    • Match mode

  • Bo3, Team with the most frags choose the decider if necessary
  • If total frags are equal at 1:1 the decider will be chosen by Admin coin_flip
  • During the League teams are NOT allowed to pick a map more than once nor the same per match


    • Match-media

  • Screenshots from ALL of the winner-side players have to be uploaded after the Match in 24 hours.
  • ServerSideDemos or ClientSideDemos from ALL of the winner-side players in case of none SSD have to be uploaded after the Match in 24 hours.
  • These are your mandatory tasks and missing media-files may result in forfeit_loss if necessary
  • full lack of media files will auto lead to default-loss if necessary or re-match based on the actual case so double check the Server/UTComp settings for auto recording/endgamescreen

    i didn't mention in the news_item but in special cases when a nation can't gather at least one or two player(s) from his own land to stand out as a team are allowed to fill the missing spots with off-land players if necessary as long as common sense* apply

    * like you can't recruit a top player from a other nation "for the lulz" and the off-land player can't play in his original nation's team at the same time its a one way ticket. also this proposition only available for those nations that RLY don't have at least 4 activeish players

    well with 9 nations; groupstage aint necessary in my point of view - but if the captains are able to manage the plus matches and longer time period i'm not against it
