MOTW: Polish suppression
Third week match of the week, by ELG-

Oppression vs AESIR

Both mapchoices reflect a bit both team playstyles, while aesir picked a rather slow tactical map where you got to rely on sniper fire to clear the way, oppression went for a rushy small map similar to Austria were camp is your doom.

Each team did well at their own map and the outcome was about who did best at their own map.
Surprisingly aesir pilled up more rounds in dust then oppression on tohunga.

Dust started really bad for oppression which after a handful of minutes were down by 3 rounds, they started split up across the map and dividing their team across the map multiple exits.
During nearly the whole first half of the map very few rounds were playing as both teams was still getting acquainted with each other.

Interesting duel between Dz and Greateye throughout the whole map, generally the first kill decided the round for the team which it belonged to, and truth been said, GreaTeye was having a hell of a day, not only he managed to slay Dz very often, he would also inflict heavy damage on the remaining 4 oppression autos.

The key point was a round lost on a 3 x 2 superiority situation where Oppression placed themselves in a nice position to go for the equalizer but ended up being hammered by aesir and consequently giving up their winning chances on dust.

8 – 6 for Oppression which lost a bit of focus and allowed aesir to make 3 rounds in a row making it 11-6,
Oppression managed to narrow the round difference by two before the clock hit the 20 minutes.
11 – 8 for aesir which went to tohunga with a small 3 round win.
Highlights:

-Dz was successfully taking down greateye but he didn’t manage to inflict much more damage on the rest of aesir team during the match

-wZx Multikill nailed 5 helmets in a split second making 4 polish casualties.

-Aesir greatly depended on Greateye which was on fire.

Tohunga isn’t really rocket science, it’s a small map where the whole team rushes clock or counter-clockwise.

Oppression were the favorites for this one, having high sensitivity players that generally move better and faster than the opponent is one big plus when it comes to cope with the ongoing mass murder fest.
And well oppression had the lead here 90% of the time, but aesir were smart enough to never let this lead dilate too much, they always kept oppression on a short leash until more or less the tenth minute, where they actually manage to lead by one round.

Oppression would end up winning this one by two round which wasn’t enough compensation for the 3 round loss on dust.
Highlights:

-R0th3n clever hide on the last minute gave his team the win, allowing aesir to make some time until map end and putting oppression players on edge.

- aesir tried to area control a few rounds only to understand that tohunga is similar to Austria : uncontrollable, best defense is attack.

- Slicey handsome picture (click me)
