EMS X TMNF: Results after Group Stage

CAP 9: Results after Group Stage

For the CAP results we first of all want to mention again that the team's ranking points get reducted by 1 incase a team got between 10-19 Minor Penalty Points, and get reducted by 2 incase a team got between 20-29 Minor Penalty Points. (1 Major Penalty Point = 10 Minor Penalty Points). Another important thing is, that incase two teams got the same amount of points, the first deciding factor is the direct match, and afterwards the score difference!

Therefore the results that you can see the on the Ranking's Page aren't 100% correct. Here the things that change:

Division 4 A: National Racing Club is placed 3rd and Phenix-GaminG.TMNF is placed 4th because the Russian team won the direct match.

Division 4 B: IMPACT# TrackMania is placed 3rd and Funteam! placed 4th because the French team won the direct match.

Division 5 A: Hardware Arena Gaming is placed 2nd and Mine Raccoon Terror! placed 3rd because the Polish team loses 1 ranking because of one Major Penalty Point.

Division 5 B: dac-SP-2- is placed 2nd and Dieux Du Pieu.CAP placed 3rd because the German team won the direct match.

Division 5 C: eXception is placed 1st and myRevenge e.V. TMNF placed 2nd because the French team won the direct match.


All other results that you can see on the Ranking's Page are correct; and according to those Rankings together with the corrections from above, the CAP Playoffs & Relegations were made. Here the links to the Tournament Trees:

System:
Semifinal 1: 1st place after group stage vs 4th place after group stage
Semifinal 2: 2nd place after group stage vs 3rd place after group stage
Small Final: Loser Semi 1 vs Loser Semi 2
Big Final: Winner Semi 1 vs Winner Semi 2

Tennis mode & decider maps:
The decier map is always the 1on1/2on2 map and is played incase the result was 3:3 after the normal match. It is played in 5on5 mode until one team reaches 7 points, only exception is tennis mode.

At this season's Playoffs all submatches will be played as usual, which means 1on1, 3on3, 5on5 until 7 points, and the 2on2 until 5. Tennis mode applies for all submatches incase the standing is 6:6 at 1on1, 3on3, 5on5, or 4:4 at the 2on2. Then you have to continue the submatch until one team has a gap of 2 points! The tennis mode applies for the decider map aswell.

CAP Relegations

Here we first of all want to mention that it is not sure yet, if there will be another CAP season that looks like the current one. Fact is that i (=joey) will leave after this season, and at the moment it looks like noone will take the project CAP 10 and organises a season like that one. So in the end the question is if somebody will come and take the CAP in his hands. But we still decided to do Relegations now, cause then everything would be prepared for a CAP 10 season that is based on the CAP 9.

Basic information about all Relegation Cups

The Relegations will exactly look like last season. So there will be Cups of 4 teams again. Those 4 teams are always determined by the results of the CAP Group Stage - more information below. The 4 teams will play in a Cup with Loser Bracket. In the end the team that won the Winner Bracket and the team that won the Loser Bracket will get a fixed spot for the higher division! The other two teams will get a fixed spot for the lower division. Here an example from last season: Click! In this case 711 won the Winner Bracket and Druidz won the Loser Bracket. Therefore they both got a fixed spot for Division 2 in this season.

For every match it's possible that the result is 3:3. In this case you have to play a decider map to determine the winner. The decider map is always the 1on1/2on2 map, and is played 5on5 until one team reached 7 points (just like a normal 5on5).

- last placed team from division 2 goes down automatically, first placed team from division 3 goes up automatically -
