EMS/CAP: Timetables & Map schedule
From this week on you can register your team for the CAP, and all teams can try to get a place for the EMS in the Qualification Cups. Now it is time to give you more detailed information about the timetables and map schedules!
Important change in the submatch structure
But first of all another thing must be mentioned: The submatch structure is going to change. Last season the 1on1 and 5on5 were driven on the same map; for this season we decided to switch back to a system that was used some seasons ago, see here:
CAP Timetable & Map schedule
This season the maximum amount of teams in one group is limited to 8! In case the number of participating teams doesn't match with this restriction, the lowest divisions will probably contain less than 8 teams. In the following table you can see each playday, but also which maps will be played when!
Note: Mappack 1 is the one which is used for the EMS Qualification Cups. This mappack won't be driven in the EMS/CAP!
EMS Timetable & Map schedule
The system used in the EMS is exactly the same as last season. There will be 16 teams, divided into 4 groups. Every team meets twice in the groupstage, then the top 2 of each group advance to the playoffs!
As you can see the EMS starts 1 week later than the CAP. Therefore, not always the same mappacks are played at both tournaments!
Also you will get detailed information about both CAP Relegations and EMS Playoffs during the tournaments!
