Information

The Playoffs will be played on Saturday, 25th February. The best 16 players are placed in four groups. These groups will play a single elimination cup, in cupmode. The best two players of each group will advance to the next round.
In order to make the Playoffs run smoothly, please stay in contact with us during the Playoffs on IRC. We will try to be there on the matches and checking if everything is going on well.
Don't forget your screenshots as a proof of results for archiving the matches.

The results will be entered in the Cup Tree after the Playoffs, so you dont really have to do anything with your open matches.

Maps & Schedule

The first round starts at 18:00 CET, the second at 19:00 CET and the final at 20:00 CET.

The same maps will be used as in groupstage, however, we added one more map which will be used once each round. This map is ESL - KingsCanFly by bladerunner! *Download*

There will be three maps for each round. You have to play 7 rounds on each. After 21 rounds (3x7), the two players with the most points qualify for the next round.

The ESL can provide gameservers for this Playoffs. All information with links will come next week.

If you would like to use your own server, please inform us about it so we can put the links in the news!

Server settings:

For the Servers that are hosted for the playoffs, we please you to stick to the following server settings:

Mode: Cup
Warmup duration: 2-
Disable Respawn: Yes
Points: 500 (you will play 7 rounds on 3 maps, therefore the limit doesn't matter - only must be high)
Rounds/Challenge: 7
Cup Winners: 0


Additional information
When you are doing some warmup rounds in CUP mode, and the players are already receiving points, then you may have a small problem: even if you do a normal ingame restart the players' points won't go down to 0, which means you can't start the war!
To prevent this problem, the map must be restarted via RCP/Admin Panel, then the points will go down to 0 again!
If you don't have access to RCP/Admin Panel, then the best solution is to keep the server in ROUND mode until the war starts. Don't drive any round in CUP mode. Before you are starting the war, just switch the mode.
