Welcome to the Intel® Innovative Case Modding Contest (IMC)

Short Description of the contest:
On an European wide basis ESL and Intel will try to install a regular Case Modding Contest.
Different to the contests in the past the goal is not to judge already built Case Mods,
but it's more to enforce the creativity to come up with new ideas and support the community around it. The Contest is open for EVERYONE!, So that everyone interested in case modding may participate as long as you live in Europe.

The Contest itself:
To participate you need to send in a concept of an Innovative Case Mod by email which shall feature the following things:
  • Detailed description of the Case Mod Idea
  • Picture/Sketch of how it should look like
  • Technical details / specials of the Case Mod
  • Name for the Case Mod
Remember: The case designs must be of a safe nature, no sharp corners or no dangerous cooling solutions and must be functional.
The email should countain all the information mentioned above, aswell with your personal information such as:
  • Name
  • Adress
  • Country
  • Email

Timeline:
Start: Monday 31st March
End: 15th August
Winner Announcement: 20th August

Winners and Prices:
The two winners will be chosen by a committee of ESL / Intel / and a partner site
Both winners of the IMC will receive a 3.06Ghz Pentium® 4 processor with Hyperthreading Techology plus an D845PEBT2 Intel® Desktop Mainboard to build up their Case Mods**.

The Case Mods should be available to Intel after they are built up for PR activities where relevant and for use of up to a maximum 14 days. Intel does also reserve the rights to post pictures, viewer's comments and all the details about the modding project on their Home Computing Website.

ESL will build up two case mods as well which will be used and shown on the Friday Night Games.

**Observe: We will need at least 8 applications if the two winner are to be selected! Otherwise the applications will be forwarded in to the next period to gather more applications before announcing a winner!
