Begin: Sun, 28/02/10 14:00 CET

Meeting place: #esl.sc2 on Quakenet IRC

Schedule: Matches are played back to back

Structure: Random seeds, single or double elimination depending on number of sign ups

Match format: Matches will be best of 1 maps in the beginning rounds, and best of 3 maps afterwards, depending on the number of sign ups

Maps: Blistering Sands, Desert Oasis, Scrap Station, Steppes of War, Kulas Ravine, Lost Temple, Metalopolis, Shakuras Plateau, Twilight Fortress

Best of 1: Starting with the player on the left, players take it in turns to eliminate maps until 1 map remains

Best of 3: Starting with the player on the left, players take it in turns to eliminate maps until 3 maps, then players pick a map each, the remaining map is the decider

Replays: Replays must be uploaded to the match page (not zipped) immediately after the match

Coverage: It is forbidden to stream matches in any way (video or audio cast, livestream, ustream, etc)

Disconnects
If there is a disconnect in the first 4 minutes of the game and there has been no contact between players, then the game will be restarted.

If the problem occurs frequently then an admin should be contacted.

If a game is restarted players must choose the same races.

How to sign up

1. You must be registered on the ESL

2. You must enter your StarCraft II character name in the format "Character Nick.Character ID" as your StarCraft II Battlenet (EU) gameaccount
