The Winners of the WCS Weekend
For the last two days the best players from Poland, Belgium and the Netherlands were battling it out to find their national champions. The winners would go and participate in the StarCraft II World Championship Series Europe Finals.
Polands finest fighting for the titleOn Saturday the eight best Polish players met to determine, who would take the top 2 spots and qualify for the StarCraft II World Championship Series Europe Finals. The line-up featured several big names like MaNa, Nerchio and DieStar.
It were these three who went on, and decided the tournament among each other. First MaNa and Nerchio met in the winnerbracket final, where Nerchio won 2-0 and became the first finalist. MaNa then had to face DieStar in the loser bracket where he managed to win the series on the last map with 2-1. With the re-match against Nerchio secured, the Protoss from mousesports went on the took the first Best-of-Three with 2-0. It looked like he would get his revenge for the loss earlier but Nerchio recovered and managed to take the second set with 2-0, winning the tournament.
Nerchio and MaNa will now represent Poland at the StarCraft II World Championship Series Europe Finals and also collected $4,000 and $2,500 respectively.

Belgian and Dutch Finals in CologneSunday was the big day for Belgium and the Netherlands when the top three players of each country met in the ESL TV studio to determine their national champions.
The Belgium hotshot newcomer Feast was missing, as he had not participated in the quarter-final some weeks ago. This opportunity was used by former World of WarCraft Pro-Gamer ORLY who went on the win the final against ELVIS with a clean 2-0. He will now represent Belgium at the StarCraft II World Championship Series Europe Finals.
The Dutch roster was packed with two super stars, Grubby and Ret. Both had already met in the recent semi-final, where the WarCraft III Legend Grubby had kicked the former BroodWar Pro into the loserbracket. There Ret had to face uThermal for a spot in the final and managed to do so with a 2-1 win. The dream final and re-match was set but Grubby came out victorious again, taking down Ret with 2-0. Both players will go on and represent their country at the StarCraft II World Championship Series Europe Finals.
