Welcome to the new year, 2010! This year we have many new and exciting championships for you to compete in. The Race Driver Grid section has been relatively inactive here on the ESL for a while, but a recent renovation of the rules and regulations has brought us back!
Ultimate Race Driver GRiD Cup
A detailed discussion has taken place behind the scenes regarding collision. We would like to take this opportunity to ask you, the player, what your thoughts are about having a league with collision on or off?

We are also interested in organising a championship. Unfortunately, little has been discussed in the forum, so again, what are your thoughts on this? It is important that we take suggestions from the players, only then can a championship that appeals to everyone be created. A touring car cup is currently being considered which would be played with some kind of knockout system. Winners of this cup will receive prizes. It doesn't matter if you drive with a gamepad, keyboard or wheel. It’s the skill and experience of the player that wins a race!
Forum - Suggestions/Opinions
Monitoring the forum is something we do on a daily basis. We try to respond to your queries as soon as possible. Remember, you can also reach us via a
Support-Ticket, where any problems will be dealt with by one of our admins.
GRiD EU Forum
It has come to our attention that many players here are inexperienced with the general layout of the ESL. Due to this, we ask the more experienced players to have a little patience with the new players. Afterall, there are many settings and links that can be a little overwhelming to a new member.
Screenshots
Finally, we would like to remind you, screenshots are mandatory. Each participant here in the RDG section is required to upload a speedometer screenshot at the start of every round and also a match result screenshot at the end of each round. It is good practice for both players to take these screenshots, just in case an error occurs. Screenshots should look like this:
Good Luck and Have Fun
All that remains to be said is, have fun! We hope to see the activity in the forum increase. Just remember, change can only be implemented from your forum posts, so don’t be shy to voice your opinion!
