Time for some Rocketjump action! *UPDATE #2*

 After a nice start with the ESL Quake Live 1on1 Spring League, it is time to push the Clanarena community. We are going to present you the first Clanarena Competition for Quake Live! The Clanarena gametype is nearly the same like RocketArena3 and should be known by all former Q3:Arena players. You are interested? Just have a look inside this news!
The ClanArena gametype is very easy to understand. Here is a short explanation: Red vs. Blue last man standing. Everyone starts with all weapons and an increased amount of health and armor. When one team frags all players from the other team they are awarded 1 point for the round, then a new round begins. The first team to win 10 rounds claims victory. The whole competition is going to start with a groupstage, 6 groups each 6 teams, and will finish with a classic playoff in double elimination.

You can also visit us in our IRC Channel #esl.quakelive (QuakeNet) or you can write a Support Ticket.Update: Due to the large number of signups so far, we decided to expand the cup from 24 to 36 teams. Sign up as soon as possible for those new spots! Update #2: We reached the 36 teams mark and are still getting signup-requests, thats why we decided to expand the cup once more. Now 48 clans will get a chance to prove what they are capable of and we expanded the signup-period till wednesday the 20th of may. Best wishes, your  Staff Europe

i'll say it again: a ql ca ladder doesn't make sense without any competitive options (pause, ready, ignore, vote during game, lock team, etc), password protected servers and only 3.5 _playable_ ca maps.

5n5 is ridicolous, even for ESEL.
It's unacceptable that we've to play 5n5 due to speccs. There is no doubt that gameplay goes before "disturbing fags". Apart from the fact id plans an update, hopefully with clanfeatures, this month and maybe solves our worries.
