Only the CTF Div1 Grand final is left in the Summer Cups now. And the match is on its way to get a date! It took a while to get the playoff back on track after some changes in the European Quakelive staff. But we made it and we can already start rewarding the teams who made it to the top3!

The last Qualifier for the Intel Extreme Masters European Championship in Quake Live will take place on Sunday. Be part of it, register right now and mess with the best European Quake Live players. The first round will start at 7pm CET, you will have to check in 6:30pm at the latest. Approximately 128 players will be fighting for their chance to be in the European Championship.

The Intel Extreme Masters Game On Cups are in progress. It is time to hold the next series of national cups. On November 8th and 11th you will have again the chance to gather points to advance to your National Finals, where you can win great Intel products and qualify for the cross-country Final.

We are looking for 16 more participants who will fight in the Intel Extreme Masters European Championship. The top four of our four qualification cups will join 16 invited players to fight for a lot of prize money in the finals. A prize money total of $13.200 awaits everyone in the European Championship.

Good surprise: fnatic with their top duelers, LLL with the finest team players from Benelux and FRONT with some solid Russian names all made it through in this last cup! The second qualifier cup was played on Sunday 11th according as planned on the schedule and the 3rd one just ended yesterday. Eight more teams have now moved on and joined the four ones who already qualified in the first cup. In the 3rd qualifier, the <b>k1ck</b> lineup - abso, GaRpY, eden and zsx - destroyed everyone to take a solid first place. In the fourth cup, <b>Zigi</b> finally could play a qualifier until the end and even managed to win the final against the Finnish team <b>2.0</b> with their strong players : dash1, Gandhi, feeder and s7ry.

The first qualifier has ended and the top four teams have reserved their spots for the upcoming season. 13 teams started the qualifier and after four exciting rounds vG took the first place.

Our very first Intel Extreme Masters Pro/Am Challenge will take place on the GamesCom fair in Cologne on the 21st of August with $1.000 prizemoney. On Friday every visitor of the fair will be able to take part in a lottery to win the last slots in the main tournament. In this news will we tell you the details about signing up and the rules for the tournament.

You are an enthusiastic Quake Live gamer and want to show people how ambitious you can be? Maybe the work as an admin would be the best chance to show your knowledge. The Electronic Sports League is searching for helping hands - maybe yours are the both which could complete our team.

Razer and ESL TV are proud to join forces and announce their first ever QuakeLive invitational tournament. Both parties are passionate and fully committed to putting Quake back on the eSports map, starting with our first Live broadcast on the 14th July 2009. Our invitational is destined be the most intense and competitive online tournament since the birth of QuakeLive

The well known Map Blood Run, also known as ztn3tourney1 or just ztn, was released for Quake Live. Originally built for Quake 1, the map became famous in Quake 3 since it was released in 2000.

The signup period for this first Clanarena competition is over. After an awesome interest in this competition we increased the number of participants up to 48. The whole tournament structure changed a bit. We got a total of 8 groups each with 6 teams. There is also a small change in the mappool, due to the feedback of the community. A new era in Quake coverage has begun as the crew behind EnemyTerritory.tv have expanded into Quake Live to launch Quake-Live.tv - a site dedicated to covering Quake Live matches with video streams, shoutcasts and VoDs.

The signup period is over and we have a total of 320 players for the spring league. Due to the huge amount of players, we had to change the tournament structure a bit. There will be a groupstage for the next 3 weeks with 64 groups with 5 players each. The two highest ranked players of each group will advance to the double elimination playoffs.
