The second qualifier cup was played on Sunday 11th according as planned on the schedule and the 3rd one just ended yesterday. Eight more teams have now moved on and joined the four ones who already qualified in the first cup.
In the 3rd qualifier, the <b>k1ck</b> lineup - abso, GaRpY, eden and zsx - destroyed everyone to take a solid first place.

Our very first Intel Extreme Masters Pro/Am Challenge will take place on the GamesCom fair in Cologne on the 21st of August. There eight players will have the chance to win $1.000 and to win one of the first Quake Live live event tournaments. As preparation for that event we will have two qualification cups, in each of them you can win a spot for the final tournament on GamesCom. There will be a groupstage for the next 3 weeks with 64 groups with 5 players each. The two highest ranked players of each group will advance to the double elimination playoffs.
