We will start in March with several cups to let you get used to this well known game in the ESL: Cup Series. In fact, it will be 2 Cup Series: One cup series will be for begginer players, one will be for veterans/advanced players. All informations for each cup will be introduced you via other news.

Introduction

This will be the first Cup series this type in our new PokerTh section. After some weeks it looks like that many players love the game, so we expect that the cup series will be a great succes! Of course this is just the first big series, but if the popularity of the PokerTh section increase like it has been, we can promise even more cups in the future!

The System depends on the fact if what level the game is the player Elite Cup Elite Cup Series is open only on game level 30+ on PokerTH. For the moment this system is in test and could be changed in the future. Prices, Hall of Fame & Cup Awards

To establish a consistent ranking and especially in order to choose our 8 finalists, the points will be awarded for every Cup. The top 8 players from Pro and Amateur who have collected the most points will be qualified for the final. The distribution of points is as well :

Cup Series - Ranking Points Rank Place Points 1st 100 2nd 75 3rd 60 4th 40 5-8th 25

The Final will take place during the 1st week of the next month, 8 players will compete in single elimination. You will have 2 days per Round.
