The ESL Gather system is not competition based, it is purely there for you to have fun and to play in a match enviroment. It is a system where you can find other players, for over 25 games, to play with or against them. It doesn't matter whether you are already part of a team, have no team or even only half a team. It also doesn't matter if you're looking for a friendly match, a training match, a relaxed 1on1 or a mixed-team match.

There is no winner or loser within an ESL Gather, and no result is stored. There are however, statistics on your player and/or Teamsheet showing how many Gathers you have participated in.

The ESL Gather system gives only very few rules, a certain fun-factor is permitted and even desired. You, the players are having as much liberty as possible, and we wish you as much fun as possible. It is the structured alternate to the chaotic search in IRC, where you never know against who you are playing. It is an alternate to unorganised "public gaming", with less effort / outlay to the normal clan life / routine.


The ESL Gather system will offer the chance to create many possibilities and ideas:

• Friendly Game (Friendly, PCW, ..)
• Training matches
• Mixed team Gathers, all the same whether its for a 3on3 Counter-Strike matchm a 16on16 Battlefield2 monster match, a large 14 player motor race with Live For Speed, etc...
• Play in Co-op mode, search for other players to play alongside you in Co-op mode.
• Test your new plays and tactics, as we do not setup many rules it will become interesting for players and teams to play out completely new plays and to find other players to test them out.
