Inside INT CSCZ #1
Welcome to our new periodical which sets out to inform you about past, present and the future of CS:CZ INT. We will continue this monthly unless enough happens for more news. Lots of information in this one since we have to cover almost a year of more or less activity. The follow-ups will surely be much shorter.

Past

It has been rather quiet Inside CS:CZ INT since last years' Summerleague ended with 10 % played matches and 90 % DefWins. Nothing much happened during the long winter until finally in February 2010 Teufel announced the new Late Night Cup series, which began with a 32 contestant 1on1 and went rather well. The next cup, 2on2 had less contestants but oh well, we just got started. Usually 3's the lucky number, unfortunately after that cup we ran out of admins and so all went quiet again in CS:Cz INT - for a long time. Well, now Summer has come and we're back in business. The Country Championship, announced on the first days of June are still in preparation and surely will happen.

Present

But that was just a starting point, in July we really became busy with a 2on2 Summercup, a whole new Ladder system (changed from the old-fashioned MR12 to MR15) and a 1on1 mixed cup with a whole set of new maps.
We also asked for your opinion on a new 1on1 ladder and apart from those who answered with: "2on2 something or other" the rest preferes aim-maps. Well, your wish is our command which is why a new ladder will soon be available (once we're finished with the rules).

Future

Don't you dare say:"That's all?" because it's not. We will restart the LNC series and then it's up to you to get this section back on its feet.
1on1 already is active - keep going there since in August this ladder has been chosen as MMC-Ladder.
What else do we need apart from active players? Well, some more help would be welcome, we can still use some more admins.

Some facts:
The new 1on1 ladder didn't need long to establish itself, at the moment its the most active ladder with 48 active players and twice the number signed-in.
2on2 laggs behind a bit, 48 teams but only 15 active, the most active country is Portugal just now.
5on5 suffers the same fate as before, only 2 matches played so far - well, let's see what happens after summer has ended.

Below a small overview

matches played July 2010
  Matches 1on1 Ladder76
  Matches 2on2 Ladder26
  Matches 5on5 Ladder

activity statistic July 2010
  Players 1on1 Ladder93
  Teams 2on2 Ladder42
  Teams 5on5 Ladder10

For all those who read all this far down - we hope you enjoyed it and we'll see you soon again during our next cups. Until then hf&gl

to get this section back on its feet you have to think about reorganizing the admin staff. I'm 100% sure that a lot of people aggree with me :)
