Once again, one of our all famous Summer Bashes has been finished. Like before DroPxShoT was able to reach the final but he was defeated twice by OzN3 who won the cup with no losses at all. It looks like the favorites always win these cups - but maybe we can witness some surprises in the future.

Weekend Cup Madness

On Friday we are starting with our first Crytical Hit Summer Bash Cup. Yes guys there is something else than Instant Action. We hope you can enjoy this small cup. Power Struggle 2on2 Beta Cup

So after a lot of discussing it is finally time for the Power Struggle 2on2 Beta Cup. What can you expect and how will it work? We have prepared a short FAQ for you.

Q: What do I need to play PS 2on2
A: The only thing required is Crysis Wars EX in the latest version and the Crysis Wars PS 2on2 Beta Map Pack.

Q: Where and when can I download this map pack
A: The Crysis Wars PS 2on2 Beta Map Pack including 2v2_Refinery, 2v2_Terminal and 2v2_Village will be released on Friday evening. A link will be posted in this forum thread.

Q: Where do I have to install it?
A: You have to copy the maps in your normal PS folder (...Crysis Wars/Game/Levels/Multiplayer/PS). Do not copy the maps into your Crysis Wars EX MOD folder. This can lead to heavy problems with the maps.

Q: Two days are not enough to prepare. Can we play the cup another day?
A: This is a BETA cup. No one is prepared and this makes this cup so interesting. It is about finding all issues in the maps and especially to check if the balancing works to finalize the maps and start some more competitions.

Q: So what is 2on2 PS about?
A: Basically it is a "Capture & Hold" game mode. Both teams have two spawn areas (marked as bunkers in on the radar). You can find three neutral spots in the middle of the map. The goal is to capture these points and hold them. The buildings are producing energy. The more buildings you have the faster you collect energy. The team that reaches 100% energy first wins the match.
