The ESL Major Series Playoffs are now well underway and will reach the final stage quite fast. In the next days you can see three matches, headed by the Winnerbracket Final between one4one.141 and H2k-Gaming. Furthermore the Loserbracket continues with two matches at round 2. The last day of the Main Round of the European Nations Championship is up! This evening we have a battle between two teams who still can go both ways: Reaching the relegation or -with bad luck- dropping out of the running tournament. Excitement pure is guarantied, so don't miss the show!

Some minutes ago the first relegation match of the ESL Major Series finished after 4 hours. In this exciting match they played all three maps with 3 overtimes on the second map! At the end just one team was the lucky one after a long and hard night. After this match we can really looking forward to the other relegation matches and the playoffs.

The end of Season 4 is coming near, but that does not mean that competition will end over Summer. This Summer ESL goes back to old skool giving players a chance to reminisce on the old maps that brought them to competition and perhaps the final chance to say farewell.

Once again, we have to bring you sad news: The Call of Duty 4 national teams of Spain and Sweden have been kicked out of the European Nations Championship 2009 due to not showing up or not being able to play for the second time.
