MW3 Gameaccount Guide
Today, we will shorty explain to you the basic guide of how-to find and get your Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 SteamID. Read on for more information!
We want a fair competition and therefore we need a special gameaccount rule. For all uppcoming cups and ladders you need your own SteamID MW3 . In this news we will explain you how to get it, so dont be scared. Just connect on a dedicated server where you have rcon and follow the steps we explain below. For this purpose, we have provided a server, and we are kindly asking from you to leave it in a good shape. In case of questions dont hesitate to ask us via support ticket.

Step 1

Go to Options -> Dedicated Server in your Modern Warfare 3 and activate the remote console.

Step 2

Connect to the ESL Server to get your MW3 Guid.

Name: ESL Testserver
IP: 85.114.136.210:27017
Join PW: esl
RCon PW: esltest

Step 3

Once you have successfully connected to the server, open the console with ~ and enlarge it with SHIFT + ~



Step 4

Now, you have to login with command login esltest as an Admin on the server.



Step 5

Now you type status to request it from the server.




As result, you get your GUID (marked as red). Please only enter the server when the server is empty because every GUID is unique.

Step 6

The ID that you get, you can now enter in game account as SteamID MW3 here.

How can I play CoD:MW3?

All you need to play in CoD:MW3 cups and VERSUS is an ESL player account. Read here to get more information about creating an account at ESL! Your SteamID MW3 you get this way.

Create your own server (download from Steam Tools), type in console mp_village or whatever, join it through SERVERS>LAN, ALT+TAB, type in console status and you have steamid :)

Right click on steam icon in Win , then go Servers , add favorites [ip address] , enable dedi.servers in MW3 Menu , join the servers via Servers Tab in game ;)

everyone should create their own dedicated server and join them to learn their GUIDs. It is a little-bit hard but if you familiar with rcons/commands and networking. You can do it.

Server isnt working.

In STEAM it always says: "Server not responding"

So theres no possibility to get the STEAM ID for COD:MW3 right now. Nice! :(

Use this website:
http://steamidfinder.com/
To look up your GUID.
Once you have it, you will only be able to put in the affixed numbers.
An example would be: "24569780"
That is what you need to supply.

EDIT: Apparently this is still wrong.
