We have reached the final stage of our 3on3 Summer League and today is the day playoffs bracket goes online. With just a few days behind schedule twelve teams have been put through on to next stage - 2 from each group. They will now compete with teams from other groups and fight their way to that all important number one position.

We have decided to go for something other than 5on5 for this season as the activity is noticeably lower - and we want to prevent as much default wins and no-shows as possible. On top of that, the sun is keeping everybody away from gaming which makes it even harder to put a whole team together to play matches. That being said, we are going to have a small 3on3 summer league this times.

Today we have some unfortunate news regarding Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 country championship. Due to recent problems with game and teams' activity, we need to cancel it. Too many teams have already quit, which makes it pointless to continue running it with just a few active teams.

After five weeks of playing matches on Wednesday evenings, we now have the top three teams. Four weeks of qualifications and one final playoff cup are now behind us, and it's time to present the winning teams. The ESL admin team would like to thank all teams for participating in this cup series and hopefully see you in our other cups as well.

The last week was all about the VERSUS most points competition in Modern Warfare 3 and today we can proudly announce the winner. The player with the most points in each game mode were part of the raffle and the winner collected 690 points in the last week and now he won the ESL Royal T-Shirt in black.

After four weeks of playing matches on Wednesday evenings, it's finally time for four best teams from each week to battle it out and become Midweek Madness May ultimate winners. The activity and the amount of interested teams was lower than we expected, however it is safe to say Midweek Madness was a successful series of cups on Wednesday evening that brought joy and fun to over 50 teams participating.

We already announced that we want to start another competition after the Most Matches Competition and today is the day of the announcement. We will run a small race from 27.05.2012 until 03.06.2012 to see who gets the most points and will have a chance of winning an ESL Royal T-Shirt (black). Besides that we have a XP Boost during that time for you.

After 8 days on Monday the Advanced Most Matches Competition was finished and now it is time to announce the lucky winners of the Premium prizes. We have a lot of winners, because we have more than one MMC running during that period. Congratulation to all winners and have fun playing VERSUS.

Even when the VERSUS Summer Season 2012 has just started, we have planned a special Most Matches Competition for all CoD:MW3 player in VERSUS. It is the same way a MMC runs in ladders, but we will have more winners, because of an advanced concept.

We are constantly trying to come up with new cups and different concepts so all of you would be satisfied with the amount of cups and possibilities to play, and we have just done it again! Since the spring has knocked on our doors and is keeping most of the players outdoors during the day, we want to make sure you all stay in a good shape.

It's been a week since we announced last news and given players a chance to apply for team captains and it's now time to present them. There were only a few applications so we didn't have much work to do, however, we are sure they will all do a fine job creating a national team.

It's been around two weeks since we have officially announced Modern Warfare 3 country championship here on the ESL and it's now time for some update! We will be looking for team captains for all nations that don't have national section here on ESL, or where national section was not interested in creating their national teams.

After months of playing Winter League 2011/2012, we are proud to announce it's finally been finished. After 128 teams battling their way through 16 groups and 32 slots playoff, we now have final 3 teams!

We are proud to announce you the next big event for 2012. This year we are going to have a Country Championship, where the best players will compete for their country on their way to the playoffs.

As Check-In period is now over and there is quite a few slots available for you to apply, we figured it's best if we write news about it.
