 We know it's been quite a few days since MW3 is out but we are proud to announce first MW3 EU cup on ESL. Get ready, because this is where the competition really begins. Read on to find out how to apply your team.
This is a great excuse for you and your team to stay indoor for the whole night playing
 MW3 and prove you are already the best team around with more than 250 teams participating! As this is our first cup ever, this are our first rules ever too and therefore we are going to make it really simple, but of course already with the massive help of Wire Anti-Cheat ! Each teams picks one map from the mappool. Starting map will be decided through knife. Make sure you take result screenshot after each halftime and upload it to the match page! It is mandatory and not doing so may result in penalty points. At the end just enter the overall result at
ESL Page.
Allowed Weapons
Assault Rifles: M4A1, M16A4, SCAR-L, CM901, G36C, AK-47, ACR 6.8
SMG's: MP5, UMP45, PP90M1
Sniper Rifles: L118A, MSR
Shotguns: SPAS-12, Modell 1887
Secondary weapons: ALL pistols allowed
Lethal: Frag granade
Non lethal: Smoke/Flash
What is disallowed?
Everything else that you don't see on this list is disabled, including shields, perks, attachments and so on. Using unallowed weapons may lead to losing a round or the whole match.
ESL Wire Anti-Cheat
Wire is ready to be used in MW3 matches right now! It provides us with fair environment for competitions, prevents fakers and ringers, detects ring0 and ring3 cheats as well as yet unknown cheats. To get ESL WAC working properly with MW3 just remove it from your game list and re-add again.
Using ESL Wire throughout the whole match is mandatory - failing to do so may result in losing the match.

Server settings
If one of the teams has got dedicated server you are required to play on it. Server admin is responsible for setting up correct settings and restrictions. In case none of the teams actually owns dedicated server you will have to play Peer-To-Peer. Match host is responsible for setting up correct game settings.
We have created server files for you. You can download them here. All you have to do is upload them to your server and edit your current default.dspl that it loads our settings. After restart server should run correct settings. To use your own classes on a ESL settings server, go into private match lobby and set your classes there. There make sure that you have only the allowed weapons set, frag, smoke/flash and REVENGE as your deathstreak. This way, you will be able to use your own classes on dedicated servers with ESL ruleset config.

Each team may use just one sniper and one shotgun. Once the sniper/shotgun is down it is not allowed to pick this weapon. All other weapons can be picked.

Well then there's no restrictions, but if they simply forgot it from the info I'd assume it's 1 scope & 1 shottie(?). Maybe this is one of the things they'll decide later. ;)

Now when Hardhat is in the mappool you should also remove Village. Map is unbalanced, has a lot of camping spots for Defend side, and has horrible background sounds. Also Mission should be removed.
Mission is just too small map and Village is too messy for 5on5 gaming. They could be ok on 3on3 gaming, but due the design of the maps, they are totally unbalanced for 5on5 gaming.

lolol stfu OneTree :D The admin made a cheeky edit to his msg after I had posted mine :x If you can read they said no attachments, so... D:
Btw guys, we could keep on doing this forever, to disable this and disable that. If we see something that is totally OP (Shotguns perhaps, shouldn't be too OP with no perks and attachments) we can report it after the cup. Soon we gonna have like 1 map and 1 gun to play with. The worst OP guns are already out (p90, mp7 etc.) so we'll see. Cup has no prizes anyway so it's not like end of the world losing.
ps. Village wasn't that bad IMO when we played a pcw in it. If there's a bit more background noise, so what? Then you need to position better so you don't rely 100% on sound. About camp spots, that's true.

That's in case if neither team has dedicated server. In case both teams have dedicated server again you can play each map on one server.

oh great here we go again with the turkish texture hackers... they were the ones that wanted the rule in MW2 and then got caught theirselves :DD i mean just think, even cod4 doesn't have modelscreen rule, and it was quite pointless in mw2 aswell (exclude turkish haxors)
@oXide: MK14 is OP... crazy range and it's still 1shot kill to head area. That's probably why :)
