How to activate the Console?

| To Activate the ingame Console just follow these 3 simple steps. Step 1: Start the Game and go to the Option Menu. Klick on the Keyboard/Mouse Tab and dret the option "Allow Developer Console" to enable and close the Game again. Step 2: Open Steam and select the Games tab. Rightclick on Left 4 Dead 2 and select Properties. Go to "Set launch options" and type in "-console". Step 3: If you start the Game now you should see a Console. To use it Ingame you can bind it manually to a key. Just type [bind "F8" "toggleconsole"] into the Developer Console and press Enter. Now you can open and close the Console with F8. -- x_X |

| You will need the Developer Console to record a Demo during your Esl Match. To record a Demo just type in the following command at the beginning of the Game. record "Demoname" * The Demo will continue to record after a Mapchange * The Demos will be saved in the /steam/steamapps/common/left 4 dead 2/left4dead2/ folder. * If you are using the same name for a Demo more then once the older version will be overwriitten. -- x_X |
