What do I need to start playing?
An original Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy version for PC and update 1.01. This update can be downloaded directly from LucasArts.
How long does a match take?
A match in this ladder ends, when the time limit is hit (15 minutes).
How do I take a screen shot?
Open your console using SHIFT-^ and enter the following command:
bind Key screenshot (where Key might be e.g. U or K or some other key).
Close the console using ESC or ^.
Pressing Key will take a screenshot from now on.
All screenshots (file extension .jpg) are located in your Jedi Knight GameData/Base/screenshots folder (consecutively numbered).
How must my screen shot look like?
The scores of all players must be visible on the screen shots.
How do I record a replay?
Open your console using SHIFT-^ and enter the following commands:
g_synchronousClients 1
record NameOfReplay
g_synchronousClients 0
Close the console using ESC or ^.
Play your match and when finished, enter stoprecord into the console.
The file (file extension .dm_26) will be saved in your Jedi Knight GameData/Base/demos folder.
How do I take a RCON status screen shot?
Open your console using SHIFT-^ and enter the following commands:
rconpassword [your rcon]
rcon status
screenshot
Close the console using ESC or ^.
All screenshots (file extension .jpg) are located in your Jedi Knight GameData/Base/screenshots folder (consecutively numbered).
You can, of course, blur your RCON password on the screen shot, as nobody must know it except for you.
Where can I find help, if something goes wrong?
You can get help and support from other users and admins in #esl.jediknight on the QuakeNet or from the ESL Support auf der ESL Website. Should problems occur regarding a specific match, a protest must be written. This is possible by means of the Command Center.
