An example and warning
You might have seen this icon before..
Let's talk rules.

We'd like to talk about some events that have been happening lately that were inconvenient to the players of our section.

Hello Jedi´s and Jedidettes.

As of late some players (I doubt we have to give names) find joy in crashing servers during ESL matches, during practice matches and just to crash them for whatever reason when even no one is playing.

Now over the past years these things were very hard to prove, whom is responsible or better said what can be done about this in relation to the ESL community itself and it's website.

However; it can be said that in times where bad things happen drastic measures will be taken by those that find it worth their effort to stand up against this kind of immature behaviour.
With both the help of the players of this community and the experience that comes from dealing with these rotten apples over the years (which honestly is getting worse) we can now easily create ways to find those responsible, prove it and then act accordingly.

This news post is to inform you that our very first responsive act to these players has been done overnight and it came down to a rather severe punishment, this is also a warning that we will not accept these kind of acts or behaviour some players have and with that said; your account will simply get banned for it.

We will notice you,
we won't warn you,
we will instantly shut you down
there is ZERO patience for players aiming to sabotage.

Want to report someone or do you have any suspicions?

To be more direct and clear:

Anyone that will start or continue crashing servers, causing trouble within the section or interfere with official intention of the ESL will receive a Section Ban.

This simply means that you will not be able to continue within this section, not in ladders nor cups, versus or premierships.

Will you yet continue to cause trouble after you have been banned from the section the ban will simply increase in timespan.

The JK:JA section has been around for quite a long time and it's loyal and active core is thinned out - we've come to a certain moment in which we won't tolerate anyone that causes trouble for those that still enjoy this game and like competing within the ESL.

If crash ESL servers, receive section ban you will. - Yoda

You have been warned.

Stupid rule.

Nowadays everybody know how to crash a server and it's possible to prove who crashed which server only by logs.
But logs come from player's servers and can be modified (lets admit I crash my server and send modified logs spelling that a player I dislike crashed it, I send it to admins as "proof" and gg I made ban someone I dislike!).
You can't ban someone on suspicions as you want to.
The only thing you can do is protect your serv or change the pw when u are in esl/praccy.

Also, I could fake anybody go on a server, tell that I'll crash the server, crash it, and surprise, the person I've faked is banned.

I'm surprised of such a rule from admins tbh.

PS: If you ban the crashers, they will keep crashing being banned, so what's the point?

I imagine they will match up IP address's vs ESL and not do it on an alias basis. If they receive the logs from 3 or 4 servers owned by different people of different teams with no correlation then it seems pretty good proof to me.

You leave the stupidity up to us, while you stick to being genius.
If you fake someone on a server and crash it, your ip still shows up to not match with that player - plus we do not just take assumptions we have a little bit more experience with things than you and your proclaimed opinion can question.

On a second part, I wish any crasher the best going around crashing servers and increasing their ban with every complaint we receive - if they prefer that over playing ESL I bet that's a nice way to spend their time instead of competing. Haha.

I'm surprised you have a statement so barely thought over, you are genius - no ?

Such insults from an admin, I shouldn't be hearing - Yoda.
There is no need to target Abbaddon since this was a joint effort with all of the admins. If you or anyone has a problem with this rule, then go cry to someone else about it because it will still stand. Nothing will change with the whining, take it like a man, swallow it, and move on. What's done is done.
BURN THE KOREAN. GET YOUR PITCHFORKS AND TORCHES MEN.
sure tecH so admins can make a stupid rules? hmm interesting, sooooo next time pls "dont pwned me or ban" funny.

Abbadon: Hallo i know, all know, you undestand me its number #1.
mandatory is basic english in order to, so that all guys undestand basic point of "your" quote.
Others languages in EU section like Hungarians, Germany, Polish or Vietnam be wrong.

Obi-Wan: Move along.
Stormtrooper: Move along... move along.
Sorry witcher it's sorta hard for me to take you serious when you say things like "We don't allow people to bring feces to our servers".
If you meant different then forgive me.

Since when can you see ip's in logs? in the basic sdk, there's nothing that stocks ip's to display them in logs afterward.

Do not speak when you have no clue, my friend.

Moreover, if you can see ip's in logs, it means that your server is modded and should normally be uncrashable.

Ever considered that we don´t ban on 1 suggestion of crashing?
Meaning that the person that is under suspicion is probably going to do it again; logs can most likely show who is under suspicion, then tracking their ip when online is not so hard.

It's about thinking ahead, no one ever said that the IP comes from the log.
And as a last; i'm not your friend.
protip for esl admins, you will need to change the ESL server settings to allow developer 1 and then do a log that way, that way you'll get connection ips however i'm sure the great ESL admin team was aware of thisss, not.
