¹ IMICP-Elite retires from league / ² Dogsclan withdraws to play 2nd division qualification

Clan-Germany was dominating the league like in the season before, again only one draw is a small blot on the escutcheon. Two of the promoted teams reached the playoffs directly, a really awesome début!

Groupe d'Infanterie Mobile is with a series of 8 wins in a row the untouched champion of the 2nd division. We are expecting another strong team in the fight for the top in 1st division next season. Runners-up "4Kings", will promote without relegation due to the voluntary withdraw of 1st division team Dogsclan

Playoffs

The championship playoffs will be played for the first time and with 4 teams in Double-Elimination mode.

Clan-Germany is still the clear favorite for the title and the first round of the playoffs. While IMICP-Elite improved a lot since last season, the result in the league on matchday 6 was a clear 4-0 for Clan-Germany.

ANZINS versus Rubber Bullets, this was once a fixture of 2nd division, but both teams made a walkover together directly from promotion into the playoffs. On the matchday #1 they tied 1-1, which promises us a very close and exciting match for both teams.

Relegation

The relegation will be played in Double-Elimination mode. Because of the retirement of IMICP-Elite after the season, the best two or three teams will qualify for 1st division (decission will be announed later). The two scandinavian newcomers Suami and Swedish Extraterrestrials will fight for the promotion while Resistance Armee Francophone and Team eu4ia like to stay in 1st division next season.

Final Words

The Insurgency Admin Team wishes all teams good luck and a fair competition. Also we like to thank all the teams that took part in Season II for making this season a success. We will look forward to improve the league further for Season III. All participants of Season II have been transfered to Season III already, new teams are expected to Sign-Up for Season III Qualification.
