Heroes of Newerth Opening Cup *UPDATE*
Some of you already waited for it, others just got in touch with it and some others don't even know what I am talking about. The section of the DotA-Clone "Heroes of Newerth" by S2 starts in the ESL with the Announcement of the "Grand Opening Cup" - TODAY!.

Step by step we will see who has the most skill in "deniing", "ganking" and "farming". First of all we will start with the Grand 5on5 Opening Cup and gradually the Ladders for 1on1 to 5on5 will follow.
We got already so much sign ups, so we decided to upgrade our cup up to 128 slots. If you scroll down, you will find a new timetable.


Weekly updates, a nice graphic, the right balance and a nice support from the community, thats what we call "HoN". A Game, which has the potential to become one of the best releases this year.
Now it's on to you, to make "HoN" a main eSport title in the ESL. So let's start this section with the Grand Opening Cup to find the first HoN Champion. Of course you will be awarded with mass fame and some other "goodies". Thats why you all should try your best to become the new HoN Champion of the ESL!

But it would be kinda boring just to get the title "First HoN Champion". So we are giving away some prices for the best of all participators.

Rules

  • The ESL Europe HoN rules apply.
  • If a team is 15 minutes too late it will receive a default loss
  • All players must enter their HoN Nickname on their Gameaccounts page.

    If more teams sing up than slots are avaible, the cup and the following timetable will be updated.

aus meiner sicht sehr komisch n Beta spiel das **noch** keinerlei möglichkeit bietet replays zu erstellen bzw. welche anzuschauen mit nem Turnier und Regeln zu behaften. Außerdem sind die Server noch sehr laggy teilweise, man kann auch ned n server wechseln wenn der eine mittendrinn zum spinnen anfängt weil es ja noch keine save/load funktion gibt

Also bissl verfrüht das ganze - mal schauen ob ich meine leute trotzdem überzeugen kann mitzumachen

ja, is schon komisch weils ja auch um so viel geht... Nämlich um Leben und Tod und nicht einfach nur Spaß!!!!

Auf gamerplays.org gibt's schon Turniere mit Geldpreisen btw

if you scroll up you see the timetable for all matches. this is the defdate, of course you can play your matches earlier but this is the last date when the match need to be played. The grid will go online at 26.10 about 12.00h the first match is on the same day at 20.00h.
