  Second phase: step I

  
  After releasing this news, we have contacted every team manager who took part of last year's Country Championship. If you were a team manager and you did not receive a message, that means you either left/got kicked from the national team, you are banned for unsportsmanlike behavior/other reasons or you are not active anymore on ESL.
  
  Here is the list of countries that may be restructured:

  Current team managers/leaders of the teams listed above have 3 days to contact us via support ticket. After this we will move to step II!
  
  

  Second phase: step II

  
  Starting from Thursday (12/04/2012) we are accepting signups for every country that didn't do that before. If you want to be the team manager of your country, you need to contact us via support ticket with a detailed application and you should already have some players, preferably the complete team, ready. The support-ticket you open should look like this:

  Why, of all people, should you be the one becoming team manager? Why do you think you are the right person for this job?

  IMPORTANT: The application must be written in English!
  IMPORTANT: Please do NOT create any national teams yet!
  
  Requirements: Before opening the support-ticket, make sure you meet the requirements:
  
  

  You should be able to write and understand English

  You should not be banned for a long time in the ESL

  You do NOT have to live in the country / need to have the nationality of the country you want to be team-manager of. But please remember: If you do not live in the country you are team manager of, you are NOT allowed to play in the Country Championship

  Depending on your activity, history and application we will pick the team managers very soon. Please do NOT create the teams - we will do it. Once we have picked the team managers, they will be pushed into those teams and they will get permissions which makes them able to build the team. Only the teams created by the admin team are authorised to play in the Country Championship - every other team is not!
  
  

  I only want to play for my national team - what to do?

  
  If you only want to play in the national team for your country, but not be the team manager of your country, you need to wait until your countrys national team is created and a team manager has been chosen, because selecting the players for the national team is the decision of the team manager.
  
  

  Requirements for national teams

  
  This information is for every national team! All national teams need to meet the following criteria:
  
  

  Name of the national team: Must be the name of the country (only the country, nothing else, ".HaxBall" can be added to "name extension")

  Number of players who are allowed to play: 6-12

  Players who are allowed to play must live in the country they are playing for

  Nationality and country of residence must be visible in the ESL profiles

  Structure: National teams can only have 1 team owner, 1 team manager and 1 team captain. Team owners should only be admins from the national section who own the national team, they are usually not allowed to play
