Important Rules

Hosting: Each player hosts one half of the match. By default, the player on the left side of the match page should host first.

If one of the players wants to play at a neutral host(registered ESL user), because the conditions are difficult, evidence of the high ping at the opponent's host must be provided. Then, the entire match must be played at the neutral host.

Agreeing to play at a neutral host means accepting the playing conditions in that room, therefore any later complaints might not be taken into account.

In case of complaints about the ping, good and solid evidence (multiple screenshots, prefferably with the ping graph) must be provided via protest.

If difficulties are encountered in the first round, a protest must be opened right after completing it, not at the end of the match, otherwise the protest could be rejected.

Player drops: If a player disconnects from the host, the game must be immediately paused, followed by a 2 minute waiting period allowing that player to reconnect. If he is unable to do so, a substitution can be made, should another registered teammate be available. This can happen only once per match! In case of a second player drop, the match must continue 4on3.

Substitutions: A single substitution can be made between rounds or after conceding a goal.

Confirming your identity: To avoid the use of fake players, everyone involved in the match should check that they can properly access the ESL site before searching for a match and must confirm their presence in the match chat or match comments, if asked by their opponents.

Spectators: Spectators are only allowed if both participants agree to this via the match comments or match chat.
