Matches will officially start on Sunday, 13th of May, 20:00 CET.

Always check individual match pages or the Live Streaming section for any available broadcasts.

CC 2012 - Streaming Guidelines

Twitch.tv is the only accepted streaming option!

By default, match rooms must reserve 2 slots for streaming purposes, as well as 1 slot for ESL admins.

Anyone interested in streaming a certain match should be in contact with one or both of the teams involved.

Streaming requests must be made by opening a support ticket at least 24 hours before match time and have to include the following:
  • Match - date and time
  • Twitch.tv channel
  • Commentary (yes/no, language)
  • Slots needed (1/2)

  • CC 2012 - Important Information

You must finalise the squads until 09/05/12, 23:59 CET. All national teams will be locked during the CC, which means that players cannot join or leave!

If a team cannot be present at the official match time, a protest must be opened at least 24 hours in advance!

Barred players are not allowed to play unless they specifically ask for permission from the admin squad by opening a support ticket.

By default, matches must be played on neutral hosts. The neutral host must be a registered ESL user and should live in a country located between the two which are playing (exception: neighboring countries - the match can be played on hosts from each country). It is the task of the teams to find adequate neutral hosts before the match starts.

    Playoff pairings: A1-G2, B2-H1, E1-C2, F2-D1, C1-E2, D2-F1, G1-A2, H2-B1.

All participants must behave in an appropriate and respectful manner towards opponents, spectators and ESL administration. Please make an effort to represent the ESL and all its supporters with dignity.

Does it mean that we have to use Twitch.tv? Or are other stream sites also available?
For example, we use UStream broadcasting usually.

    Thanks.

rkd already started a thread with this topic in the Players Lounge forum where all team managers and captains have access. We could put together a list there.

As the red sentence clearly states:
Twitch.tv is the only accepted streaming option!

    http://www.esl.eu/eu/haxball/ccrules/

    Here is the rule:

    5.9 Substitutions
Teams can make 2 substitutions per half, so a maximum of 4 in the entire match. Substitutions are only allowed during half-time or after a goal has been scored.
In case a team wants to make a substitution after a goal was scored, the game must be paused using the pause function of HaxBall. The waiting time for substitutions is 3 minutes. Replacemenets should therefore be prepared to join the host at any time!
    thank you dynamix

sweden against czech or russia 8th final will be hot :p

Also Group B and to some extent group D the hardest groups imo.

Estonia was removed for not meeting the requirements. Finland will replace them.
Welcome Finland, bye-bye second team of Lithuania. Oh! Sorry... my bad, bye-bye Estonia.
Yup, Team Finland is easily a contender for a play-off spot, there's no question that they've deserved to be here.
    Greetings. :)
Thanks god Estonia was removed for known reasons for all, more less :). I hope my report has helped to expose that "nationonal" team.
We want to make believe that Lithuanian community has being disagreed with this situation, exept couple incompetent our members. I hope shadow won't fall on all Lithuania community and good, honest players won't have problems after this situation in the future :)
