ESL Major Series

The ESL Major Series is one of the most important leagues in the ESL. Here you can play in professional conditions and win cool prizes and even prize money. In September the third season will start with Guild Wars as a major title!

We are really looking forward to this new league in Guild Wars. The whole set of tournaments - ESL Major Series as well as ESL Amateur Series - will use the 8on8-Mode. From September till December the cream of the crop will be found and the spots for the Offline Finals are their goal. Besides cool prizes in the Opening Cup and the ESL Amateur Series you will compete for a fantastic prize money in the ESL Major Series and its Offline Finals!

In August there will be three tournaments in which you can qualify for the ESL Major Series in. Details on the prizes and the tournaments will be announced in the following days.

Invitational Tournament
At this years Games Convention we will host an Invitational Tournament in cooperation with NCsoft Europe. Soon we will present the the four invited top teams for Leipzig, Germany. These teams will be invited directly by NCsoft Europe and show their skills in front of on of the biggest crowds in eSports. All the other teams will have their chance in the qualifiers to gain the same kind of fame, honour and prizes in the ESL Major Series.

Teamsize: 4 players per teams
Cupsize: 32+ teams
Mode: Single Elimination
Signup Dates: Open till 3rd of August, 7:00pm CET

1st round: Sunday, 3rd of August, 8:00pm CET
2nd round: Tuesday, 5th of August, 8:00pm CET
3rd round: Thursday, 7th of August, 8:00pm CET
Grand Final: Sunday, 10th of August, 8:00pm CET

Beside the Opening Cup and ESL Major Series other tournaments will be hosted for the whole community of Guild Wars players. For all fans of 4on4 matches the 4on4 Ladder will be the place to be. Join the ladder, challenge teams from all over Europe and join the cream of the crop in the 4on4 section.

For all the teams with big ambitions the 8on8 Qualifier Cups will be the right choice. If you need some training or just want to play for fun the 8on8 ESL Amateur Series is the other choice. In the ESL Amateur Series will be real competition with nice prizes, fixed matches, no need for premium and it will be the qualifier for a possible second ESL Major Series in Guild Wars.
